The illustrious city of Tokyo, Japan is a constant hustle and bustle of cars and pedestrians that could rival that of New York City. People get so busy living their own lives that they tend to overlook the fact that they live in a city where crime and murder are just around the corner. You read about it in the papers and see it on the News, but you never stop to consider what kind of life that person had had before it was tragically cut short, the reality that we aren’t immortal doesn’t really set in until it’s your loved one in the casket.
But until that day comes, everyone’s happy milling about day to day, going to school, going to work and going along with their daily rituals. Not many seem to realize that the city they live in breeds criminals or that their beloved city, once the sun goes down, becomes a hotbed for criminal activity. A sinister organization, simple known as the Black Organization, controls most of the city without anyone even knowing it. The members have slipped in unnoticed and wrapped their manipulative tendrils around us, controlling us without anyone even realizing it.
The Organization isn’t the only underhanded group slinking around the city, there are, of course, the regular criminals—thieves, murderers, and the likes—who run around, some are caught by the police before they can even make a name for themselves and some slip out of authority’s grasp with ease.
A recent string of murders has left the city on edge, the killer or killers have gotten away with 5 reported murders and who knows how many incidents that haven’t been reported yet! While the city dwellers may be a little more cautious about going out alone, life doesn’t just stop because of tragedy. Everyone’s just trying to make it through the day, continuing with their daily rituals and hoping that whoever is responsible for this crime outbreak will be captured and brought to justice soon so that they can once again rest at ease.
Will the crime syndicates get caught and locked away for their misdeeds? Or will they get away with committing the perfect crime?
