Aries just nodded, he couldn't find anything to say about what Tenshi was telling him. He hoped that his actions spoke for him though. The two had become fast friends in a single night, to him it had to be fate. As a dhampir, Aries had actually been religious but obviously you couldn't believe in a higher power when you were evil itself.

Aries couldn't help it, he laughed out loud. "That is good to know. Very good to know." He nodded again, his sharp eyes seeing the slight giveaways of someone gaining strength and confidence. Not that Tenshi lacked any of that but even the most confident person in the world gave tiny hints in their body language when they set their mind to something. "Most people have forgotten the old ways with which you come from. I, myself, know little about the samurai code but I do know that it is good to live by guidelines."

If only he had had his own right after he turned. Aries wondered if he should tell Tenshi what he had done in his own bloodlust period of first awakening. He decided not to just yet unless Tenshi specifically asked. Though it might be better to tell someone, he couldn't bring himself to even think about it. Focusing on his cloak once more, he started ringing it out, all the blood gone, and hung it up by the shower curtain rod.

After he had hung up his cloak to dry, there wasn't naything for him to keep distracted with so Aries came out of the bathroom and leaned against a particular place on a wall where he knew the sun wouldn't touch him once it did come up. It was always easier that way.

He heard Tenshi trail off as if he was distracted as well. Aries was just about to ask him if he was ok when he heard the very question that had been on his mind off and on all night. Fangs bared, "How did you...?" Aries did not finish the question though for he wasn't really mad. The whole fang thing was actually defense, guarding himself from the pain but there was no point in hiding it anymore.

The Strigoi sighed heavily, pain all throughout his voice as he spoke, "My bloodlust lasted four months. Most always have that bloodlust but it grows smaller, easier to control, the longer you are a Strigoi. Mine cut off because of something...someone I had killed and fed from. I murdered anything that got in my way without a second thought. But I wanted revenge on the people I blamed the most." Aries slid down the wall so that his feet were holding him up. The assassin looked anything but as his hands went to cover his bowed head. "I went to Novoisbirsk and killed my entire family. Then I tracked down my oder brother, he was a guardian for a royal Moroi family who were just high enough in rank to have more then three or four guardians. I killed them all, saving my brother for last so he could go through the same pain I went through before I was awakened."

Aries stopped for a few minutes, trying to get under control but the next part still haunted him every day. He closed his eyes to hide away from the pain but it only made it worse as that face screamed. "By that time I only had one more to really kill or awaken, my girlfriend. I was hoping I would have been able to turn her but when I came face to face to her, I couldn't do either. I fled away from her only to take my rage out on a ten year old boy named Freddie. I....I tortured him slowly...making him suffer more then any of the prey before. When he finally died, I snapped out of my bloodlust and realized what I had done. I was told that the funeral was closed casket." The assassin fell silent, his bloodlust story finally told to someone who actually wouldn't compare horror stories. Aries stayed where he was, his feet gave way and he slumped sideway slightly. He did not even try to stop it, he wasn't aware of anything in that moment. Just agony and helplessness.

His Strigoi side took over to save his dhampir side from any more pain. Aries hissed at Tenshi, deciding to focus on the fact that his friend was clearly thinking that that Aries was sick. The Strigoi knew he was, he wasn't stupid. He was an assassin after all, a murderer...

His dhampir side was gone now, shoved aside for the time being. A night like this was rare for Aries. But he let anger overcome his pain. He got out of his current useless position and stood up. Anger on his face, "I have rules now. That was the reason for my rules. Do you honestly think I was always this good little Strigoi? I am an assassin and proud of it. I get to do whatever I want in either world and no one can stop me because I am working for the most powerful man in the entire world." Aries was bragging, he knew it and right now, he didn;t care. The Strigoi was knew he could overcome Tenshi if his friend decided to attack. But the now tiny dhampir side was also angry with Tenshi for not understanding Tenshi's words.

Understanding dawned on both sides finally but Aries wouldn't give Tenshi the satisfaction of saying a simple, "Oh." His mind was already all Strigoi, so Aries was pretty sure he wasn't making much sense to Tenshi. He thought that by showing he understood was showing that Tenshi had the upper hand. So he stayed silent until Tenshi was done with the rest.

His Strigoi side did not show fear, ever, but once again fear was shown as anger. "Why do you think I am working for him? I already told you that once the Master has hold of you, you are his and his alone!" Annoyance flickered along with his anger, Aries hated repeating himself but hadn't Tenshijust done the same thing? No, he was Strigoi, superior in every way. But a question sliped out anyway, "What is it like being five hundred years old?"
