Anya is well known for her caring attitude and her obediance. The affects of spirit is making her unpredictable and sometimes even dangerous but everyone just lays that to her PTSD that she's trying to get over. A broken child, people seems to be very leniant with her which sometimes bothers the girl but she's grateful that she hasn't gotten kicked out of school all the same. She's very playful when she wants to be and very fragile but than, she is strong and determined and maybe most dangerous personality of al self-reliant.
Spirit is basically making her already high emotions very high, she seems to do several things and although her general pattern of conduct is predictable the specifics arent. She never blames another person for anything, if something goes wrong around her it's her fault. While everyone is trying to get her to realize nothing is her fault half the time she'll blame herself for everything under the sun if she can. She can get mad both at herself than at others it's a bit more dangerous if she gets mad at herself though because that leads her right back into her going off and hurting herself and generally she will do that. Now if the person she is mad at is a guardian or an adult, she won't say a thing, if the person she's mad at is younger or same as yes she might say something but never is she going to hurt them. As far as forgivness goes, people have probably learned or will learn very quick after meeting her that when she thinks she did something wrong she needs someone to forgive her whoever that someone happens to be most of the time they have found that it is a guardian. So if she starts going "please forgive me" the best course of action would be ask why and what for and say that she's forgiven. If she dosn't hear it that's just as bad because again, she'll go and hurt herself. She finally likes to ask for guidence and all she might ask someone to punish her and tell her what to do, instead of going "I don't know what to tell you" or "i won't punish you" it's just better to do as she asks because again if you don't she will do it to herself and what she's going to put herself through is a lot more than what anyone else will.
But case in point she's a very nice friend a great listener and she's a great guardian cause she cares so much except, she just is very not stable and her being a spirit user and not wanting to worry anyone is not helping matters. The only thing that one should not do when they're around her is scream and yell two things comes out of this either her mind shuts down completely or she goes in either yelling or crying hysterics and it's than that her illusion powers go haywire not to mention the rest of her body and herself for that matter so let's not go there.

She was fine until her age 6 when her father married another woman who had a daughter who was a Moroi but not a royal, there was jealousy and all and it was around her 7th birthday that the girl tried to drown Anya. That night she tried to tell her father unfortunately, her father would not believe her and neither would her new step mother one thing led to another and she planned to run away.
A week before her running away, she and her family was attacked by Strogoi, everyone survived except when it was done, no one was able to find her older brother they assumed him to have been "awakened" and with that knowledge, before anyone could stop her Anya ran.
She wandered around and had miraculously managed to stay out of trouble and detection for about a year. She lived on the streets until she was 8 years old and her father, who had been searching for her had sent the school after her somehow or other. By this time, Anya was already starting to be able to do things most people her age would not have been able to do. She first started casting illusions then and was quite getting good at compulsion so by the time she was found by about half a dozen guardians who brought her to the school, she was able to convince them all that despite what her father had told them, she was no Moroi in fact she was a Dhampire and definitely not related to Tasha Ozera.
From 8-19, she relatively had a good time. The school as much as not the same as it was became her parent, she tried to obey every guardian and adult she could and for that she was beloved by many. She did things without being asked and as much as she was feeling depressed and lonely due to the affects of spirit, no one would have guessed she kept it hidden so well.
Her first cutting fest started right after her two best friends, who were a grade older than she Rose and Vasalissa just up and left school. During the time that they were gone, Anya did everything from cutting and trying to jump off of ledges. She cut deep but not enough to kill herself and no one ever knew anyway. She was careful not to let anyone see her attempting jumping off ledges but when she did, she never died, something or someone always broke her fall and the worst she got out of it was a good headache that lasted hours if not days.
Her cutting eased when the two girls came back to school and they managed to get her on track again. She was fine until the ski trip which was where she made her first ever Strogoi kill. She had been there when Rose and Mason had been trapped by Strogoi and she used Compulsion to get one of the Strogoi to kill themselves that was a hard part, covering that up using illusion and making it look like she staked them was another matter altogether. But she could not help Mason as he died, feeling guilty over that, she went back to her cutting right after that although she hadn't told Lissa, Rose or anyone else for that matter. She was starting to behave more oddly, more unpredictable. More outgoing more or less but still she was just acting weird now.
Unfortunately her wild and uncontrolled emotions made her go hasty and one day, weeks before the school was broken into, she went off and cut herself too deep and passed out from her own blood. By the time Alberta Petrov and Stan Alto found her it was just in time, any more time and she would've been dead. She was sent to the school nurse who, after talking to her for a little realized she was suffering from P.T.S.D what she did not know however was that it was there even before Mason's death and had actually started with her parents who were no longer involved in her life and her elder brother who had been unwilling or unknowing to protect her. She received counseling or had started to.
Her next big event in her life was when the actual school was broken into despite what she was told to do which was stay in her dorm, she went to try and help the others, she had met up with four Strogoi who was attacking some freshmen Dhampires and she reacted on instinct and used compulsion to get two of them to kill themselves and used illusions to cover it up. She would've died if the freshmen girls had not gotten a couple guardians involved and they had come to Anya's rescue just in time.
After that, Anya was told to go back to her dorm and stay there for real this time, but some protective side of her, the guardian inside her could not just sit there and do nothing. But she waited until she heard that they were going to go on the rescue mission. She begged the guardians to go with them but they told her no, so she disobeyed and used an illusion to help her get past them. She mostly dealt with the backup during the fight trying to help the others get everyone. Once everyone was out, she ran back to the school. But she was unable to keep her illusion up any longer and with the last bit of strength left she had managed to compel and convince people that she had been there the whole time despite orders given to her and she had fought and lost strength. When she came around, she got a big fat lecture but no one was really mad, for all that she's done she ended up with the marks that she did and although she was a junior she was told that she would not be able to take her guardian tests until she was stabilized, she agreed to it, more counseling and all and she parted ways with Rose, Lissa and the others after that. That's when she made the habit of going to court every summer and spending the school year at the school.
She had not been allowed sharp objects in the fear that with her instability she'd hurt herself but she had always kept an extra or two of knives hanging around, she also had not been allowed a stake in her final year and couple years after that. She spent the years counseling and training, and this is right around the time she met her mentor Celeste who has been with her since. Now, with some semblance of normalcy, Anya just hopes to get a stake, prove that she's stable and get outta there as much as she loves school she can't wait to experience life and it's about time too.

She hoped she would see Celeste soon, she hadn't seen her since that little training and the confessing fest she had. She had communicated to her using email since it was the age of technology, Anya was fortunate enough to have a phone that sent emails how Celeste accessed it was another story. She flopped back on her bed and kept her eyes closed for a moment longer before she realized she heard a noise outside. Who on earth could be up this early or...late...or whatever.
