Personality:
Alberta is very serious about her job. Sometimes she gets short tempered because of the stress, but she calms down shortly afterword. She has a very strict, no nonsense, type of person. She lost a childhood friend to other people's pranks, so she's very strict about this.
Though strict she's very compassionate. She feels other people's losses and can usually connect with them. She also is passionate about people with a passion for protection. Some people she feels a connection to, and she is extra protective of them. Anya and Rose would be two examples of this.

She was raised by the head Guardian at St. Vladamir. She look the woman's place when she was killed by a Strogi. Alberta was 41 at the time.
History:
Alberta was concived from her mother having an alcohol induced, one night stand with a non-royal Moroi man. The man was never seen again. Her mother only took care of her until she was 3, when she was dropped off at St. Vladamir. As she grew up she's felt for people who have been trhough the same thing and became a mother figure to people who would take it.
She's also had some rough times as a young adult. She was raped by a Moroi man, and luckily didnt get pregnant from that. But she never felt close enough to Moroi men after that and never married or had children. She did date another Dhamphir when she was still a student at St. Vladamir's, but broke it off when she became a guardian.
Her older life was better. She became a guardian for a Royal Moroi family. She got really close with the children and would do anything for the family. Unfortunately it all came crashing down when they were attacked. A Strogi had grabbed her and made her watch while the other Strogi killed the family, except the kids. The kids here changed into Strogi in front of her eyes. She got so upset she killed the Strogi who was holding her with one blow. The other Strogi was already gone with the children. She felt that she failed and went into hiding. The Head Guardian went after her and found her a year later, laying in an alley.
The Guardian takes her back to the school and gets her in some theropy sessions. Alberta doesnt want to cooperate at first but eventually gives in and explains what happens. They reassure her that she did all she could and that nothing she could have done would have saved the children. She asks to stay at the school, which they allow.

Alberta was sitting in her office looking over the student's progress throughout the year. She sees that one student has been slacking. She wonders what has caused this student to be so far behind. The year before she was the top of her class. She goes to the training yard. On the way there she hears a strange noise
"who's there?" she demans to know, but no answer is given. "show yourself." she calls and again no one responds.
She keeps walking, keeping her senses open for the slightest sound or movement.
