Personality:
The girl is a fairly calm person she's much like Lissa which is how she gets along so well with her. She is quiet and reserved these days, calmer and gloomier than she used to be but she is coming around to it. She is very protective of her friends and once she's provoked she's not afraid to use her strengths or her magic to fight. She is a little rebellious but she tends to lose all that when orders are given and she's ready to sacrifice herself to protect anyone and everyone that she can which gets her to go so well as friends with Rose too.

Adults like her because she's well mannered and polite, kids like her because she is not only pretty but she's very helpful, although the secret she's keeping from everyone is eating her up inside she knows she should tell someone and because of this secret she's started to take her frustrations out on herself.

History:
Anya Ozera (Kandice) is the daughter of Tasha Ozera and an unknown human. Nothing is known about her father except that he works for the prosecutor's office in Manhattan New York. She has grown up with no sibling and she had been sent to St. Vladimire's but by this time she was living with her father. Her father was afraid for her safety and changed her name, thinking that this would stop the Strogoi's while he was wrong, this opened a door for Anya to work as an undercover dhampire. No one had to know, she would just keep it all hush hush, so she was registered as a dhampire and a guardian.

She always hung around Lissa and Rose and aside from Mason and the others she had been their best friend, ever since Mason's death though she has kind of not been too well not that anyone had actually and she's been focusing on learning her powers to keep her grief a secret, she rarely hung out with anyone anymore now being a workaholic in her studies and everything else. But since Lissa being turned queen, she now is more laxed about it she spends still her days at St. Vladimire's but in the summer time, at least while she's still doing her schooling she is in the court.

Anya Kandice (Ozara in secret) was a guardian or rather, training to be a guardian. She would guard her best friend, as things tended to work out around here these days but first, she had to take care of the Strogoi's in the school. She had not realized that ever since the first break in of the Strogoi's in last spring semester, no one had been safe yes, the ward was back up yes, there were new guardians to take the place of the fallen but it just was not enough. One of the rebellious dhampire girls, Rose Hathaway had withdrawn from school before graduation and even though she had been one of the people that had stayed behind in the school, she hadn't thought that a good idea at all.

But for Anya, there was another secret. No one knew, she was the daughter of Tasha Ozara and a human, making her Moroi, but she would never admit that. The third part to that secret was that she was also a spirit user, she wouldn't admit that too or so, that had been her plan. As the Strogoi's attacked the schools, again, and the school was on lockdown, again, she realized she had no choice but to use it. Compelling someone to do what you wanted was one thing but everyone's life was at stake here, so she slipped out despite the guardians watching the place, she had been ordered to go to her dorm, but she was reckless, another thing she and Rose Hathaway had in common, she ducked under a bush outside as Janine Hathaway walked by, she didn't want to get caught by another guardian and chastised, as soon as the older woman had past she ran her strawberry red hair flying.

She found where three Strogoi's was battling a guardian, was it a teacher she knew, it didn't matter. She caught the eyes of one of them and than she started to do what she knew she had to do, she didn't want her secret blown but right now this was for the greater good. "You're going to kill the others Strogoi's" she muttered as she stared at it, it was a girl not that much older than her suddenly the Strogoi that she had compelled grabbed the stake out of the guardian's grasp and staked her companions and than herself.
