Moving On

Of course it was raining, it almost always rained up here, Aries thought as he moved silently on the pavement through a nice looking neighborhood. He had gone all out, in both guardian and assassin mode. His hood was drawn up all the way and not just to shelter him from the rain though his cloak was doing a good job. He even had sunglasses on to hide his eyes even more, luckily his night vision was good enough to still be able to see pretty well.

This was extremely dangerous for him and others but for a different reason. Aries had kept his thoughts constantly moving in order to keep this little trip away from Tenshi but he had a feeling that Rain or Jonathan had figured it out. He pulled out a peice of paper that had an address scribbled on it, this had cost him...a lot... to get because he had to 'become' the assassin he had been just weeks ago.

But as Aries came up on the house and saw the lights on, he knew it would be worth it, even if it broke his heart. Scanning the area to make sure no one was suspicious, he silently went to one of the window and looked in. It was the dining room with a nice looking table with a family just starting to get dinner set up. He watched as a man set the table and three children started sitting down. His heart was beating faster. A woman carrying the dinner walked in and set it down, a huge grin on her face as she sat down next to her husband. Sarah.

Just as he thought her name, she looked up and right at him. Her mouth dropped as she stood up and started running away from the table. The husband was right behind her. Reaching into his cloak, his pulled out a silver cross he had infused with all four Moroi elements. He placed it on the sill before walking away, trying to convince himself that he wasn't suprised. He was already halfway down the road when he heard the door open and a pair of feet running. He was suprised when he heard, "ARIES!!! ARIES WAIT!!!"
