Personality:
Aries only uses his weapons when he is on a mission and he doesn't cheat with them either. Aries is about the only honorable Strigoi you might ever meet.
This Strigoi is the kind that stays unnoticed until you actually fight him, then he is unforgettable. He prefers to be alone and not messed with by anyone, including other Strigoi. Aries is humble and does not let his skills as a previous Guardian go to his head. To him, nothing matters except completing his mission. Not even blood means more to him... Aries will do whatever it takes to complete a mission.
Though he doesn't prefer company, Aries is actually quite easy to talk to, even for a Strigoi. Aries has even had a couple friends who were Moroi or dhampirs before the one he answers to ordered him to finish them off because he was getting too close. However, all of that is about to change....
Appearance:
Aries is tall and well built. He is muscular but doesn't look like he is exactly. His movements are graceful yet filled with purpose like he thinks of the concequences of every step that he makes.
Ventrani almost always wears the black clothing of a Guardian but he also hides it with a hooded dark colored cloak. Aries has multiple weapons, including multiple daggers, a small pistol that he only uses as backup, and dozens and dozens of shruikens.

History:
Before Awakening
Aries started out life like most male dhampires did, he grew up in a community where almost all of the female dhampires were blood whores, including his mother. He watched his older brother leave to start his training. Aries told himself then that he would become not only good but one of the best Guardians of his time.
A couple years after, Aries followed in his brother's footsteps, leaving behind his pregnant mother and two younger sisters. Ventrani quickly surpassed the level his brother had been at each year of training. Aries became deadly in battle to where he not only excelled in his early guarding fellow Moroi students. Aries also ended up sending two of his intructors to get worked on in the school's clinic. At his trials, he received almost a near perfect score. This by far qualified him to become a Royal Guard but Aries turned them down.
The dhampire was given Guardian duty of protecting members of the Ivashcov family. The years passed and Aries found his life peaceful. By then, his neck was over halfway covered with Monoja marks and he even had a steady girlfriend who he was going to propose to. But then everything went wrong, there was an attack with more Strigoi than he had ever seen in one attack. Aries had been guarding one of the Ivashcov's teenager girls while she was on her way to a friends house. Aries was guarding the girl alone. He protected her as long as he could, staking as many as he could but it soon became clear what the inevitable was. Instead of turning him right away, the Strigoi made him watch as they fed and killed the girl he had been protecting. Then they awakened him...
After Awakening
The first four months of his time as Strigoi was the hardest. He killed constantly and fed from everything he killed. He was among other os his kind and became the very monster that Guardians and Moroi feared so much. He let the bloodlust overcome him, the anger, the joy of watching the life fade from a body. During those four months, he tracked down his family and killed them...every single one of them. But even that did not stop the monster inside of him. When he went to kill his girlfriend, he couldn't do it. In pure reage, Aries ended up feeding and killing a ten year old little boy.
After that day, Aries made up a set of rules for him to follow. It seemed as soon as those rules were in place, things changed. Aries started staying away from other Strigoi, from anyone really. He started wearing his black cloak and hiding his red rimmed eyes. Aries also started doing assasin missions. They started out small and easy, Strigoi who wanted a specific enemy killed for them. A grudge, an old flame that they didn't want to kill themselves.
A couple years later, Aries was approached by his master. He had started making a name for himself and was somewhat known by most Strigoi. His master sent him on more missions, once a month, then once every two weeks, and then once or twice every week. They became increasingly challenging with every success. More years passed and now every single Strigoi knows to stay away from him, all except those who are freshly awakened and even they learn fast.
Through the years, Aries followed his rules to the T, even when he was given one particular mission. This mission included not just killing a specific person or group, but to get information. Following his rules, Aries ended up getting know the Moroi and dhampirs, even the one he had to kill. His master however, found out, and ordered him to kill not just the one, but every single one of them. That happened only a year ago.
Aries was also a major role in the killing of the Royal Families. Others obviously tried but he was by far the best one for the job. Ventrani's reputation has grown to where even some of the guardians know him. This Aries actually thinks adds to the challenge but also makes it harder for him to seek out companions. He has heard of the rumors of Spirit using Moroi bringing Strigoi back. When he first heard, Aries was suddenly filled with hope but now he is not sure he can deal with what he has done as a Strigoi....
