[Tenshi] Fearful warning

The pain was so immense and widespread that at first Aries hadn't even heard Tenshi. Then something made his stop screaming and focus on his friends words. "What do you mean sort of?" Aries sat up again and once again it was way too fast for a dhampire to be moving. This was making no sense!

Then he finally registered what Tenshi had said, he looked around and instantly regretted it. There were two Strigoi in the room. He almost reacted by starting to reach for his stake only to remember that he had been Strigoi just moments ago. That realization hit him hard and tears welled up in his eyes again. But this time he wasn't just remembering all of the killings for the missions, he relived everything with the Master and everything he had done during his bloodlust period.

Shock gripped him, his breath coming fast and shallow as if he couldn't get enough air. Aries had full out murdered his family and that horrible Master, what had he been thinking? What were they all going to do now? Was he free now or was he trapped inside a monster's body? But right now none of that mattered because he no longer had anyone. Aries had no one. His family was gone, murdered by his own hands, he had fed from them too. That fact made him sick, he wasn't even sure if Strigoi could get sick.

Aries tried to stand up and the male Strigoi helped him to his feet. Aries whirled, hissed furiously, picked him up by the arm that was on him, and swung him into the back wall. "Don't touch me! Just don't touch me, leave me alone, I don't...I don't... I can..." Confusion entered the shock and whipped the anger away. A Strigoi had just touched him and he had instantly reacted like any guardian would but that was not guardian like. Aries stared at his hands, his legs wobbled and he stumbled back onto the bed. He looked up at Tenshi, "Tenshi, you are my friend, why? I... what just happened?" There was panic and helplessness in his voice as well as his eyes. Aries was looking at Tenshi as if his friend was the only thing keeping him from falling apart.

The Strigoi didn't flinch away from Tenshi's touch, in fact, it comforted him. It proved to him that he actually wasn't alone. Aries took a couple deep breaths and listened to his friend's reassuring words. He looked at the two Strigoi, the one he had thrown was already on his feet. "Jonathan?" The male nodded but didn't come any closer.

More memories came back, more slowly this time but filled with slightly more pain but ended with a sudden hope. His eyes widened, "Sarah's alive!" But then the excitement leeched out of his face. "I don't remember the boy's name, Tenshi..."

The assassin wondered if he was really free, in a lot of ways, he was. But there were still a few were he was still a monster. He doubted that he would be able to see sunlight and eat human food. But wasn't that better then bloodlust? Yes. Aries looked closer at Tenshi, "Do not worry, Tenshi, everything will be fine. I think you should wait though to do whatever you did to me to the others. At least for a couple of days to see how well this actually worked." Now that he was starting to get over the shock, Aries was forcing his emotions down to get some things done.

He looked down at his chest and saw quite a large scar that almost looked like those new Marks the dhampirs for in battle, almost. It was more blurred and looked like a wierd circle. It covered almost his entire chest but he could live with a simple scar. "How did that get there?"

Aries held his friend's gaze, memorizing every word that Tenshi said. Tenshi was no longer just his friend, he was the person who had saved him. Aries would go to Hell and back to make sure Tenshi was safe at all times. "Thank you Tenshi, for everything." He knew that his gratidude was already showing but it felt better to say it out loud.

"I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself, you used some major Spirit when you healed me. So then...no sunlight still? Or would I be able to use my cloak in the sun?" Aries was pleased that he'd be able to eat real food once more. The alternative was...not good.

Feeling more steady, he stood up once more and stayed up this time. He glanced at the male Strigoi, "Give me a few daggers, Jonathan." Aries stared at the other Strigoi until he was tossed two daggers. Instinct and years of guardian training and Strigoi murders took over and Aries caught both, circling to test his abilities. Smiling, he looked both Strigoi over again, "Now, get out!"

"Good, I'll try it out as soon as the sun comes up." The assassin said, still smiling and glaring at the other Strigoi. But his smile was wiped off his face when Tenshi put his hand out in front of Jonathan. Without thinking, Aries moved with fluid movements that placed him right in between the Moroi and Jonathan. For good measure, Aries lightly shoved the Strigoi even further away from Tenshi. "Stay back until Tenshi decides when to do the process for each of you. If either of you come any closer then right now, your going to have me to answer to."

Aries knew Tenshi would not particularly like that, especially beings Tenshi was fully capable of handeling himself, but Aries was not going to let a mistake happen on his watch. "Are you sure you want to do the process on them now?" He asked, still eyeing both of the Strigoi. The woman had went behind Jonathan but Aries could see wariness and anger in Jonathan eyes.

Aries allowed himself to be moved, he had known that he slightly overeacted but in his defense, this was all new-ish to him. The assassin decided to just let the whole thing go, "Sorry, you two, I overreacted a bit."

He watched as Jonathan was placed on the table and the female got ready to hold him down. That just wasn't going to work. "Here, let me, ma'am. He might calm down sooner if he sees a friend first." Aries doubted it but it was worth a shot. Plus he had a feeling that Jonathan would recover much faster then he had, for the simple reason that Jonathan had only been a Strigoi for just under five years verses his twenty some. That was going to save his friend much pain...

Now it was a waiting game, turning to Tenshi he asked, "Really? I didn't know about the depression. How can you do all of this anyway? Did it come to you with age or what?" Now that he wasn't tech a Strigoi, Aries was immensely interested in how Tenshi could do all of this.

Aries made sure Jonathan stayed down but he couldn't look away from Jonathan. This was painful to watch and he knew it was painful to go through. "Your alright there, I'm not gonna leave you." Aries said with something in his voice.

"Wow, that is amazing. You could be the answer to a lot of people's problems right now." Aries continued keeping a close eye on his friend, "Is this almost done?"

"We will all be here for you if there are any side affects, Tenshi." He said with a smile as he let Jonathan up. His friend hadn't screamed yet except for that painful part during the compulsion. Maybe it had worked, Jonathan seemed fine except for seeing confusion all over his face. "Just sit on the chair over there, things will be explained as soon as we're done with her."

Then Aries turned his attention to the women. But not before he took a careful look at Tenshi to make sure Tenshi was well enough to actually do a third compulsion. He looked ok for now. "Wish we knew more about her, we don't even know how long she's been Strigoi, or even her name for that matter. But that can wait."
