[Tenshi] Fearful warning

The assassin clenched his hands to stop them from shaking. Then he looked up at Tenshi, "Then what are we going to do?" His voice did not sound scared or fearful but it held a lot of uncertainty. For the first time in years, even his entire life, Aries Ventrani had no idea what to do. He refused to turn Tenshi but he couldn't go against the Master alone.

"He knew I was mad at him, Tenshi. He knew I had already met you. He knew everything..." There was no point trying to evade that at all. Plus if Tenshi had read his memories, then his friend already knew what had happened. "The Master probably has others tracking me right now. What are we going to do?" Aries asked again, this time fear entered his voice just enough to make it known.

He ran back over what Tenshi said as well. "So you know then, right? How did you get away?

Aries turned to where Tenshi was looking just in time to see the Strigoi blow up, "Nice. Very n..." Movement caught his own eyes, like a bird of prey, Aries zoned in on it. The fear was gone now that he was in action. The Master had made sure to sent his friends against him.

"Yea, I have friends and here they come." The assassin took out two daggers, one in each hand. He also had his own hand gun on him this time, Aries wasn't a fool and not taking chances. "What are you doing here Jonathan?" The challange was clear.

"You know exactly what I am doing here." The Strigoi hissed and attacked. Aries rose to meet him, Jonathan was one of the few who used weapons. Exchanging blows, Aries got slashed accross his arm but in the heat of battle, he didn't feel it.

"You don't have to do this! Join me! We have to fight back, you could have a chance to become a guardian again, my friend." Jonathan hesitated, Aries immediately stopped fighting, "We can be free." Sensing that Jonathan was giving in, he gently took the Strigoi's weapons.

"Are there more after us?" "No but there will be if I do not return with or without you and especially him." "We'll lie. "You know that won't work, Aries. You already tried, remember." He did remember, now that the battle was over, Aries felt the fear coming back and it was stronger because Jonathan was now feeling paincy.

Aries came up to Tenshi, "This is Johnathan, he is second to me." He looked at the Strigoi, then back, "I do not know." Jonathan looked amazed at Tenshi, "You got away?" Aries sighed, "He just said that! How many do you need on our side, Tenshi? I can maybe get Ardeth but he enjoys it too much, it would be a long shot."

Jonathan hissed, "I am not your fr-" Aries himself hissed furiously, "Don't start Jonathan! I'm warning you. Now get back and start acting like a guardian or did you already forget? Oh and put that hood back where it belongs." Aries stared Jonathan down until the other assassin did what he was told. Jonathan silently moved back several paces and started scanning the area.

Aries shook his head, "No, no one I knew. But could you hold off on killing them right away, please. We might be able to get a few on our side." The Strigoi slid his own hood back into place, covering up his eyes. He also stood on Tenshi's right side, with theit hood up, with any luck, the two Strigoi would look like guardians from a distance. "Sorry about Jonathan, he's not the friendliest to get to know but he follows orders and also does what is right. Oh and don't take offense to this whole guardian thing, it's only for show."

Aries nodded, understanding what Tenshi was saying. In more ways then one, the Strigoi and Moroi understood each other, which made it easy for them to work together. "He'll warm up to you eventually." But Jonathan might have followed his rules but his friend was not like him at all. Jonathan had allowed his Strigoi side to take over more then halfway. Aries nodded again, "Sure thing, be right back."

The assassin quickly went up to the Strigoi, saw that she a female with black hair. He went into assassin mode and easily sneaked up on her but he was suprised when she turned on him. Acting fast, he quickly caught her arms but she twisted away only to get caught with a much forceful grip. Walking almost calmly back to Tenshi, he stopped just out of hearing distance for most Moroi and whispered in her ear. The Strigoi started struggling twice as hard but Aries held her down and again whispered something. She stopped completely and looked up at him, then looked down. Only then did Aries continue on his way, "There you go. She will answer any questions you have."

Aries was very suprised that the Strigoi he was holding down actually agreed to become a Dhampire again. Then again considering what he had told her, maybe not. He looked steadily at Tenshi.

Then he nodded slowly, he was finally going to be free. This was a very big deal for all of the Strigoi standing near Tenshi and all of them, including the unknown female Strigoi, stood extremely still. Aries realized that he had stopped breathing and slowly started again. "Let's do this." His voice was strong and confident, his eyes showed determination with no fear...but there was also trust. Aries, the Strigoi assassin, trusted Tenshi with his life and they both were about to put that life to the test. The assassin waited for orders but of a different sort then he was used to. It felt good.

The Strigoi normally would have fought off a laugh at the fact that Tenshi just happened to have a safehouse nearby. The fact was actually very funny. But Aries' Strigoi side was already getting panicy, as if it sensed that something huge was about to happen. He let go of the female Strigoi he had been holding and started taking off his cloak. He handed it to the girl who took it.

He dropped back too to where Jonathan was and handed him all of his weapons. Aries was not going to take the chance of killing Tenshi. He also talk the other assassin to stop him at all cost if things went bad. Aries would not go into bloodlust again, he would make sure he died before that happened again.

The assassin listened intently to Tenshi, he watched as everyone else nodded agreements to continue. Then he himself nodded and took a deep breath. "What is next, my friend?"
