Well that's an inteeresting name, Aries thought to himself but it was really no more unique then Tenshi's and himself. Right before Tenshi laid his hand on her head, Aries braced himself as he was sure Tenshi was doing internally at least. In no time at all, the scream came and Aries heard his name. His voice immediately took on the same tone he had used earlier with Jonathan, the soft and gentle one, the one he had not used in just over twenty years.
"Shhh, I'm here for you. So is Tenshi and Jonathan, your safe. Nothing and no one will harm you..." Aries continued talking quietly until he saw Rain's eyes open. She too looked confused but otherwise no panic or pain. No sense of complete and total helplessness like he had. Aries immediately refocused his thoughts. It seemed like that first horrible scream was also the last now, at least during the initial stages. "How are you doing, Tenshi?" There was concern in Aries voice.

Tenshi removed his hand and turned around. Someone was there. "I heard you, dude. Come out, now." The Strigoi lunged at Aries in anger. "DIE TRAITOR!" With one quick motion, the Strigoi's head was on the floor, and Tenshi's katana was bloodstained. He sheathed his katana like he used to when he was a samurai. "I'm fine, Aries." He felt no side effects as usual. The sun was coming up. "Great, looks like we have to test out your survival skills in the sun."

Aries had been so focused on helping Rain that he hadn't seen or heard the other Strigoi coming up until he heard the "DIE TRAITOR!" right next to him. The assassin whipped around only to find that Tenshi had already taken care of the other Strigoi, his katana all bloody. Until that point Aries hadn't really thought that he was Strigoi still on the outside, he hadn't believed it, his dhampir mind wouldn't allow it.
Now he did and the thought sent fear through him. He was still Strigoi, no matter what Tenshi did to his mind. Was this how it was going to be from now on? Always attacked by Strigoi and guardians alike? Aries didn't say a word but just nodded and silently pulled his cloak on.
Excitement flowed through Aries immediately vanquished the fear. he pulled on his hood and looked down before opening the door, letting the sunlight in. His eyes didn't hurt at all as he looked at it but he wasn't directly in the light either. Aries took a couple steps outside, making sure he was within helping distance in case things went wrong. Then he looked up, right at the rising sun. He slid his hands away from the sleeves, no pain so far, raising them to slide his hood down from his head. Aries slowly turned in a circle, laughing and just enjoyed being out in the sun for the first time in over twenty years.

Tenshi smiled. He was happy that his friend could feel the sun on him again. Mind scans showed a bit of fear of the future and what it held for attacks by Guardians and Strigoi alike. He saw Jonathan and Rain dancing in the sun. He looked at the people staring and caused them to think that it was normal and began dancing themselves. "Heh."

Still laughing, Aries joined Rain and Jonathan as all three of them just danced in the sun. He had forgotten how warm it was, how cold his skin and blood had been all those years. It wasn't even all the way up yet either, maybe it'd be better to go back inside before the sun came all the way out into the world but right now none of the Strigoi cared.
Aries looked at Tenshi, "Come on! Have some fun! This is wonderful..." He looked around and saw that all of the humans were also in good spirits, he had a feeling that was Tenshi's doing, allowing the three of them to enjoy a moment of happiness. He started laughing again and watched at Rain left them to go grab Tenshi's hand and tried to drag him into the fun. That only made him laugh harder.

Tenshi shook his head. "Not a dancer, my friend." He raised an eyebrow when Rain tried to get him to join in. Aries just kept laughing. "This is so amusing to you." She eventually got him in the circle but his sunglasses fell off. Unfortunately, Jonathan stepped on them, breaking them. "Crap." He was practically blnd in the sun without them. That may be the side effect of his no depression ability. "Okay, stop." He stopped the people with Compulsion.

Aries was very suprised that Tenshi actually allowed Rain to drag him out into the growing sunlight. He was even more suprised when Tenshi started to dance too but he didn't dance for long. Aries saw his sunglasses fall and then all three Strigoi finally figured out Tenshi's weakness. The assassin had known about Tenshi's sensitivity to light but to see it in action was different. It was like watching a highly loved and respected leader being beat down in front of his or her loyal subjects.
The dancing stopped just like that as Aries heard Rain and Jonathan gasp in shock at seeing Tenshi's eyes. Wanting to shield him, he reached into his cloak and pulled out a pair of sunglasses he had stolen not long ago. "Will these work?" Aries asked softly, almost a whisper. He saw from the corner of his eye that Rain and Jonathan were already making sure no one was watching or getting closer then they already were. About time those two started acting like guardians. "We've had our fun, no more."

Tenshi was practically blind in the light without those specs of his. Unfortunately, those were the only pair he had on him. "I'm not helpless in the light, but having all my senses helps." He waved Aries off. Unfortunately, the sunglasses were custom. "'Fraid not, Aries, just gotta get back inside." He walked back inside and opened his eyes. He kept a spare pair of sunglasses in his car. Unfortunately, his car was about four blocks from their location. Jonathan expressed his deep sorrow in breaking his glasses, as did Rain for knocking them off. "I'll be fine. Just gotta get my car here is all." He took out his car keys and pressed a button on the pad that controlled all the functions on the car. He put his car keys back in his jacket. "My car should be here in a few minutes. It's got a spare pair. Don't worry these things break way more often than I care to admit."

Aries thought about helping Tenshi back into the shadows but his instant protest about him not being helpless stopped him. But he couldn't help it, Aries stayed within reaching distance just in case.
Nodding, Aries put his sunglasses back inside his cloak and scanned the area. His head whipped around to stare at Tenshi with astonishment. Surely he hadn't heard Tenshi correctly, "Your car is coming to you like a dog! No way!" Had he seriously been that issolated from everything? "Maybe you should start keeping a spare on you." The assassin said in a gentle tone.

Tenshi shrugged. He normally did, but he was still waiting on the delivery of the batch of them. "Normally, I do. The pair that I broke and the pair in the car are the last ones I have for this week. Can't help bad luck." His car stopped in the shade, allowing Tenshi to go out and grab the pair, putting them on. "Okay, I'm good. You know, I used to walk around with a blindfold around my head before they invented glasses. Ears and Nose are trained well enough with my Spirit abilities to keep me alive if I lose the glasses." He chuckled at Aries's wonder at his car. That was how most people reacted. "Yeah, everyone has that reaction, don't think it's common."

"Ahhh, that makes sense then. How many of these do you break a week?" Aries asked through his own laughter, he couldn't help but laugh. The entire thing was funny.
Interest sparked inside Aries and showed all over his face, "So then your sense of hearing, smell, taste, and touch are better then your eyesight? Will that work with all of us if we practiced? I've already figured out that I can't see nearly as good in sunlight as I used to as well." The Strigoi was suddenly full of questions and it reminded him of his times as a guardian in training. Everything was so new and yet not new.
"Why isn't it common? I think a car like that would sell amazingly if it was sold for the public."

Tenshi thought for a minute. Honestly, he did not know. Well, he never counted, but he could probably figure something witty out. "Depends on how many bullets and Strigoi get thrown at me." He raised an eyebrow. Interested, was he? "In theory, yes, but it took me years to do it." He knew that not all of the things Strigoi went through could be taken away, but the reduced eyesight is probably the least of evils they could go through. "I can always get you a pair of my glasses." He shook his head. "It's my design. My planes, boats, and the tanks also run on this auto-pilot. I tend to do a lot of work on my vehicles when I'm at home."

The first comment caused the assassin to chuckle, it felt real good to laugh this much again. Aries grinned, "Years? Why so long?" He considered Tenshi's offer but then remembered the sunglasses he had offered Tenshi in the first place. "Nah, these should work fine but thanks anyway. Maybe Jonathan or Rain would want them."
His eyebrows rose, "You do all of that work on all of your vehicles, Jesus, do you ever sleep?" Aries joked, partly, he was amazed that Tenshi could do so much but he sometimes forgot just how old his friend was.

Tenshi had exaggerated a bit. Oops for him. "Well, I started when I was a kid; so it was easier for me. My adopted parents thought I was blind the first five years of my life. You know the Legend of the Blind Samurai? That was just me in a blindfold." Tenshi nodded. He would probably make them some. He chuckled a bit. "I don't need as much sleep as most people. My weapons are custom too. The only thing I don't make are the sunglasses." He checked his watch. "I got a jet a few miles from here. Where do you guys want to go?"

"Nice, I thought that was just a story." Aries stated with a smile, "Nice to see that it's not." He knew he certainly wouldn't want Tenshi as an enemy, which was funny that he thought that because that was one of the first things he thought when they first met. That seemed so long ago, so much had happened, too much.
"Should've figured everything was hand-made for the most part. Um, I have no where to be so I'm along for the ride. Jonathan or Rain might have somewhere they wanna go."
