Tenshi was glad. Seeing Aries smile was a pleasing sight. He was glad his friend had gotten at least a part of his life back. "Oh, if they knew the truth, those nasty little hunts would start again. I don't want to have to make an entire town kill itself because they knew I was a Moroi. Eugh, that was gruesome." He actually covered his eyes during the ordeal. The guilt still haunted him. He started driving and got another call. "Oh, come on." He set in on speaker, and the voice of his buddy Reno De Leon began playing. "Reno! Buddy! What's goin' on?" "You're friends have arrived. Youd didn't tell me about their... looks." Tenshi scowled. Reno was one of his best friends, but he really sucked at not pushing Tenshi's buttons. "I trust them completely, and the guy I'm bringing with me. You or any of the other guys got a problem with that, then you can count me out on the job." He did not like having to give ultimatums, but he also had to stand up for Rain and Jonathan. "...Yeah, no problem, Tenshi. You got the plans in that mind-reading brain of yours?" "Of course, see ya." He hung up and turned his head to Aries. "You wanna go to that dinner? "

His smile faded as a mental picture flashed accross his brain, "That sounds really...disturbing, dude." His smile faded all the way as guilt entered his features very slowly, what Tenshi had done was no more disturbing and sick as what he himself had done to the one little boy and everyone else he had tortured.
But his thoughts were inturrupted as Tenshi put a phone call on speaker. It was interesting to hear Tenshi being so casual and at ease. It made Aries wonder if he only talked that way with certain people. Nah, Tenshi was too much like himself, always alert unless you knew you were completely safe.
Then his vanished smile turned into an angry scowl, Aries waited patiently for Tenshi to finish his phone call. :Are we going to have problems with that guy? He could say and do two very different things." Aries had no idea, he didn't know the guy but he already didn't trust him. "And sure, sounds like fun."

Tenshi looked down. He was really not proud of what he had done. "Yeah, it is." Tenshi turned to Aries. Quite honestly, he could trust Reno with his life. He trusted all of the guys on this mission with this life. It was kind of part of the job. "Yeah, Reno's been one of my best friends since the 1960s. He's a Dhampire, and one rarely associated with Moroi at that. He's always been a little on edge before or during a mission. He's not a big fan of new people." Reno was almost paranoid in his preparations. He was about five miles from the site when his phone rang again. It was Jonathan. "Jonathan?" "Tenshi, it's a trap." "What?" "Strigoi infest that building. He's there, Tenshi." Tenshi blinked. "In... West Virginia?" "What are we going to do." "Sit tight. We're almost there. " Jonathan hung up. Tenshi was a little worried.

The Strigoi nodded allowing the thoughts that came up naturally the silent respect they deserved before moving on. He guessed that if Tenshi trusted someone with his life, then it was with good reason. Aries would have to meet this Reno guy first though before he made any final descisions. "Then that is good enough for me, so far." Then the phone rang again and Aries eyes widened as he heard Jonathan's voice.
Time slowed down as adrenaline took hold, just from hearing the panic in Jonathan's voice. Then the assassin heard that the Master was there, he glanced at Tenshi with worried eyes as he was already pulling out the gun he had just put at the small of his back just a few hours ago. Aries was not taking any chances, not even the Master could dodge a bullet, hopefully... But Tenshi used all sorts of weapons, guns included, and he had went against the Master, so did that mean even a bullet couldn't stop the tyrant?
Aries shifted the gun to his right hand as he slipped out his best dagger. "What is the plan now, Tenshi? Are we all going to focus on taking him out?" Aries managed to keep the fear from his voice because of the assassin mode he had slipped into as well as the adrenaline but he also knew that Tenshi knew him well enough to know that Aries was terrified.

Tenshi was sweating a little. He was never scared, but he was afraid for his friend's lives. Joanathan, Aries, Rain, Reno, all of them. If he was going to lose them, he was going to lose them to time, not Had Es. He parked the car and jumped out, grabbing his suitcase. He opened it on the hood of the car and took out dual revolvers, each double-barreled. He took out the katana he had used when he was a samurai, a real one. He took out his old blindfold and tied it around the bottom of his katana's hilt. "SitRep." Reno walked up to him and gave him a brotherly hug. "Stevens got incinerated. That's how Jonathan and Rain knew who it was." "Right." Rain walked up to Tenshi. "What do we do?" " He'll be heavily guarded. Alright, Listen up, people. Aries and I are going to attack Had Es. The rest of you need to hold off the hordes that will be coming for us. If we do that, we might have a chance of bringing this guy down." "Today's gonna be a long day.", said Aki. " 'Fraid so." He loaded his revolvers and holstered them. He sheathed his katana next to his other one.

Aries got out just as quickly as Tenshi had and as Tenshi took control and gave out orders, Aries settled on making sure all of his weapons were placed properly to where they would act directly as armor while still allowing him room to grab any and all of them with ease in battle. Aries had a growing sense that he would end up losing a lot of his weapons today if he made it out alive.
The assassin stayed silent, knowing that his own words would only confuse Jonathan and Rain, especially Jonathan. The kid hung on his every word so staying silent was a good thing right now unless he spoke directly to Tenshi. Oh but he just remembered, "Watch out for the other assassins, you will not see them until they decide to attack. They are very fast and dangerous, silent. But I know all of you can take them on and more."
Now was the time for action, the time to take control of his own life for the first time. He wondered if Tenshi knew what would happen if and when they took out the Master. Would all of the Strigoi be murdered or would they be given the chance to be saved like him? He had many more questions but they all faded as memories of the Master flashed in his mind. His grip tightened on his dagger and the gun but Aries was not going to lose focus through fear this time. No, tonight was the night that the Master would no longer be.

Tenshi sensed the flush of emotions going through Aries's head. He wanted to answer them all, but he decided to answer only one. "All Strigoi that don't get killed tonight will get a chance at returning to their original form. If the Queen won't like that, then I'll just have to do it behind her back." Frankly, he was ready to end all of this. However, Had Es was going to be formidable. "Hopefully, I can disable him with a Compulsion." He signaled for everyone to follow him as he descended the hill.

The assassin nodded, grateful that Tenshi had already put his thoughts at ease, knowing that the surviving Strigoi wouldn't be murdered. Aries might be a born killer but he hadn't killed innocents since his bloodlust and had no desire to go there again.
Glad to know his orders but nervous about facing the Master head on, Aries followed Tenshi up the hill. If they could just simply shoot him, then it would have been all over long ago. That's what what had all of them so nervous. Aries really hoped Tenshi had enough compulsion power to st least give them a chance.
Aries closed his eyes and took a few deep and calming breaths before opening his eyes again. He looked at everyone in turn, even at Reno and said clearly with a strong voice, "God protect us all. Help us vanquish this evil tonight, Lord. Amen." Then he made the sign accross his chest. Aries really didn't care what everyone else believed, but tonight they were fooling themselves if they thought they would survive without the help of a greater being. At least thats what he believed.
"Ready whenever you are Tenshi." The Strigoi said, now facing the friend he was about to walk through Hell with.

Tenshi was not one for speeches. He just wasn't. He just listened to Aries's prayer and sign of readiness. "Alright, people, move out." He put his hand on his sheathe and began walking downhill. "So, we're just gonna knock?", asked Reno. "Yeah, when you knock like I knock, cowboy." He pressed a few buttons on his watch. Two tanks and his car rolled up and began opening fire. He was going to open as many doors as he could. "Right, biig knock." "Heh, I love doing that." He began walking even moreso downhill.

The assassin was not suprised to see that he that was the only one that had made the sign. It didn't bother him in the least. Whatever they believed, right. But he would follow and protect Tenshi at all costs, even to the death. Aries would do the same for Rain and Jonathan, even for Tenshi's men just for the sake of that they were all on the same side. They were all trying to kill the Master.
While following everyone down the hill and towards the building, he tried to pay attention to the joke, just one more laugh before facing death and fear itself. But he just didn't find it funny, maybe he was more scared then he was letting himself believe. Aries also made a snap decision. He put the gun back into place at the small of his back and pulled out a weak powered stake. Weak enough not to make him drop it but strong enough to still get the job done. Aries was no longer a full Strigoi but everyone inside except for the Master himself, was. Plus, he'd rather save the bullets to help Tenshi take out the Master.

Tenshi motioned for Aries, Jonathan, Rain, and Reno to follow him. With a press of a button, the doors were blown open. "You four, with me. The rest, take the back." He pulled out his revolver and shot a few Strigoi with incindiaries. Then, he drew his katana and cut through three of them. "Into the fire, no frying pan." There were about thirty Strigoi in front of them. Reno looked at Tenshi. "Uh..." "Just fire." He threw a sticky incindiary grenade which took out five or six of them. Reno began firing indiscriminately. "You need to work on your aim there." "Oh shut up, Quartermane." He shot down a few more.

Aries made no sound as he moved in step behind Tenshi and beside Jonathan. He glanced at the other assassin and met his gaze. Jonathan looked determined yet scared, probably just like he himself looked like but Aries was better at hiding it then Jonathan was. Years of working together in missions and hopefully, this one would be the last. Both assassins nodded at each other at the same time just before all four of them went into action.
The Strigoi easily kept pace with Tenshi as his friend took out three Strigoi with one stroke of his katana. Aries would have to ask Tenshi if he would mind teaching him how to use it if they all survived this. Aries himself took out two Stirgoi, one right after the other with ease. He felt Jonathan move behind his back, and both started circling, taking out Strigoi as they went.
With the five of them, they all seemed to be holding their own easily but Aries had no illusions about the fact that there had to be even more Strigoi guarding the Master. In the blink of an eye, Aries saw a lone assassin run at Tenshi, sword being drawn. Aries knew this assassin and raced to meet him before he could attack Tenshi. The fight was brutal but short, ending with the other assassin dead at Aries feet. "That will be the only assassin we encounter before we get near the Master." Aries stated before entering the fray again.

Tenshi nodded. He was glad that Aries had saved him. The rest of the Strigoi were swiftly dispatched. "Alright, the other team should be meeting us in the throne room. Let's go." He motioned for the others to follow him. He drew both of his revolvers. The map of the building showed that the throne room was right ahead. "What an uneventful dungeon crawl." He heard sounds of a struggle. Unfortunately, the door was not to be opened easily. Reno tossed him a pack of C4. "What would I do without ya, Reno?" "Die, fail the mission, etc." "Clever if overdone." He placed the C4 on the door and backed up. He motioned for the others to do the same. "Ladies and gentlemen, ready any guns, knives, swords, arrows, or whatever other weapon you have. We're about to fit the fan." He pointed his revolver at the C4 and pulled the trigger the explosion easily blew the doors open. Then, the bodies of the other team flew past them. Tenshi's eyes widened. Had Es was here.

Had Es was perfectly happy to just kill the traitors and Tenshi. Then, those OTHER people had to get involved. Humans. Their very existence disgusted Had Es. Still, they could be used as food and pawns; so their extermination would have to wait until the Moroi were destroyed. "Little pawns, you have no reason to be here." He rose from his Gothicly-designed throne and threw a burst of fire at them like a grenade. The shockwave divided the group. Divide and conquer. There was a certain poetry to it. He almost took pleasure in using his powers again. He stopped their bullets and other weapons with a heat shield. "Please, I've faced the worst you humans can offer and survived. You are nothing compared to me. NOTHING!" He stuck two fingers into one of the human's eyeballs and burnt his brain out. Then, he incinerated another one. The last one was impaled by his fire sword and thrown with his friend outside of the doors that were blown open. " VENTRANI! SEKIYO! WELCOME TO YOUR DEATHS!" Pillars of fire raged around him as an intimidator. If they were not scared of him now, they would be.

Everyone followed Tenshi through to where the throne room was, each area they passed, Aries felt a shiver of recognition but how could that be? They were in West Virginia!! Not Russia. Aries chuckled slightly as they came across three assassins right in front of the door, which meant the rest of them were all inside waiting to wipe them all out one by one without even getting a shot at the Master. So that was their game.
Aries took out two more daggers, aimed, and threw. Both hit their targets, one in Crystal's heart, the other in Sam's throat. The throat hit was immediately followed through with two of Jonathan's arrows. The third assassin, Jason, had been taken out by another arrow. Ha, teamwork. Not even five seconds later, the door was blown apart by the C4. He knew immediately that the Master was inside, he could feel him.
Rain sqeaked as the Master incinerated a human before their very eyes. Aries saw Jonathan shaking with fear, shoot if he was being honest with himself, so was he. The pillars on fire seconds later caused all three of them to jump. He didn't say a word to the Master but neither did he bow down. Aries took out his stake and another dagger again, ready for anything.
