Tenshi tipped his hat downward. His eyes were filled with anger, and you could see it through his glasses. Those were his friends, and Had Es had just tripped a big no-no for him. This was no longer a necessary battle for survival as it had been to Tenshi. This man was going to die. Period. He holstered one of his revolvers and drew his katana. Then, out came the cliched pillars of fire. Tenshi was not scared in the least. "Aries, if you and the others want to get out, I wouldn't think anything less of you." The assassins attacked, but Tenshi roared a Compulsion. "STOP!" All the assassins fell over into a coma. They would be out for at least two months. He stepped forward to face Had Es. He compulsed Had Es into thinking he was charging. In truth, he sped to the side and shot a few bullets from his revolver.

Had Es raised an eyebrow as his assassins fell. Tenshi had grown quite strong. You could say Tenshi was to the Spirit Users that Had Es was to the Fire Users, the best. He was quite impressed with him to be honest. Then, he charged Had Es. The fool. He fired a stream of flame at the aparition. It went straight through and hit the only true Dhampire of the group. He saw the bullets hurtling towards him. He sank into the ashes of one of his victims and shot back up five feet to Tenshi's left. He fired a few fireballs at Tenshi then shot a few at Ventrani. He wanted thes traitors dead. Now. "BURN! BURN IN THE ALL-CONSUMIN FLAME!!!!"

After that first jolt of fear, Aries knew he needed to pull up all of the raw emotions that had rang inside him since Tanhi had changed him. Even this one night had had too much emotion for him to contain, which was why he had been drop dead drunk at the beginning of the night. It was amazing how fast everything had turned. Calling on all of the grief, sorrow, anger, and guilt; Aries looked up and said, "NO! I will not leave! Not until you are dead!" The assassin pointed his stake at the Master, meeting his eyes.
That was when the assassins attacked, Aries paid very very close attention to who was among them...he was looking for someone in particular. Either, the Master had gotten a heck of a lot more assassins or Aries couldn't see who he was looking for as they all went down from a single word. Aries glanced at Tenshi, looking for the next move.
His mind was thinking fast, if Tenshi could do that with a single word and have enough control to not cause his followers to drop as well, then Tenshi was the only one who could defeat the Master. Switching from assassin to guardian mode, Aries decided to stick close to Tenshi. Dodging the fireballs, he changed his mind again and decided to go with a blend of both.
Aries couldn't hold back any longer and aimed his weapons at the Master before letting them fly. As soon as they were out of his hand, he slipped two more out and did the same but held onto the stake and slipped out another dagger. He had a feeling the stake would somehow be very good to have around. Aries was getting a bad feeling and it had nothing to do with the Master.

Tenshi blocked most of the fireballs with his sword and dodged the rest. It appeared that Aries was sticking with him for this. Rain and Jonathan were tending to Reno. "Get him out of here! Aries and I'll take him!" Jonathan stopped for a moment to ask if Tenshi was sure. Tenshi just nodded. The two picked up Reno and carried him out. Tenshi fired a few shots from his revolver. Then, he shot the lights out. It was pitch black in there now. Tenshi threw off his glasses and sheathed his weapons. While he was one of the most deadly swordsmen in the world, his martial arts skills were known in the Underground circles as his coup de grace. He cracked his knuckles and charged. Thankfully, he was the only one that could see. Had Es could only see by giving himself away to Aries. "Aries! If you see a sliver of flame, throw a dagger." He approached Had Es and conncted a mighty kick into the man's skull.

Had Es melted the dagger thrown at him easily. He did the same to the bullets, causing them to explode in mid-air. He showed an evil sneer and his hands began glowing with flame. Flame swords appeared in each hand. He shot them at Aries. He was Had Es's greatest assassin. However, he was the weakest link in this battle. Tenshi's reflexes were too fast to fight with. He would have to play games with man. Killing Aries would be a good way to do it. He was within inches of the assassin now and shot at the man's stake. "Tut tut tut, my assassin, you know better than to use a stake on your Master." He flashed an evil smile and tried to land a flaming blow to Aries's stomach. Then, the lights went out. Had Es teleported through the ash to keep away from Aries. Thankfully, Had Es believed that everyone was blind in this darkness. He kept his flames off to play games with the two. Then, he was sent flying by a kick from Tenshi. "You can see?!" He caught himself on his own throne and threw a burst of flame at where he thought Tenshi was. He missed. He slipped behind his throne to gather his thoughts.

The Strigoi dodged the Master's flaming punch and was just swinging his arm wide to stab the Master when the lights went out. He had had warning from Tenshi but it was still confusing. Aries quickly moved away from range and waited for his night vision to kick on. He was shocked to find that he could only make out the shadows of Tenshi's and the Master's forms.
Aries guessed that since he could now walk in sunlight without burning to death, eat and drink anything he wanted, and yet still have Strigoi strength and speed, something had to give. He just hoped he could heal as fast in case something happened. The Strigoi stayed as silent as he could, keeping his eyes on Tenshi and Had Es. There!
He threw a dagger as hard as he could and could only hope that it flew home. Right when he was reaching for a seventh weapon, Aries was suddenly thrown off his feet and slammed into the floor. He heard a sickening crack and his collar bone broke. Aries screamed, his eyes trying to see who had attacked him. He was on his feet in less then five seconds, his stake still in his hand. There were two rules that you never broke. Never drop your weapon and never go down.
Right as he gained his balance, he heard a swish of metal swinging towards him. He turned but the curve already swiped against his side deely before being ripped out. "I've waited so long to do that, Aries! I'll kill you nice and slow. Do you like how the Master had me hidden away from your Spirit user friend? He is truely genius!"
Aries staggered but stayed upright, "Ardeth. I thought you'd go after Tenshi, not me. But you still cannot take me down, you never could and that doesn't change now."
"Oh I think I can. Your going to be screaming for death by the time I am done with you!" The assassin said, and was suddenly close enough to whisper in Aries' ear, "So will Tenshi, Jonathan, Rain, and Reno. I seem to be forgetting someone. Oh and Sarah."
Aries roared in rage and pain, using the stake and stabbing Ardeth in the shoulder. "Tenshi, you have to stop the Master! Now!! I can't see and I'm being attacked!" [Hope that made up for not finishing the post. ]

Tenshi saw the hit coming, but did not have enough time to say anything. This Ardeth fellow seemed to have Aries occupied. That was no good. He compulsed the assassin to stop, as he had done with the others. Then, he dodged a fireball from Had Es, but that was not as important right now. He sprinted over to Aries, blocking fireballs from the newly aggressive Had Es. He used his healing abilities to at least heal the break. "I gotcha, Aries." He blocked another fireball and turned his blade toward Had Es. He threw a grenade at the Throne.

He had shot a few moree fireballs, hoping to catch Tenshi off-guard while he was healing Aries. A grenade was the fruit of his efforts. Had Es smiled. "Fool." Had Es absorbed the explosion and became glowing with flame. He was pretty much a juggernaut now. "Thanks for the fuel, Tenshi. I'll make sure to spit on your grave." He sent out pillars of flame in all directions, hoping to catch someone. He looked at the assassin in a coma and set the thing ablaze. Strigoi were mere creatures to use. "AHAHAHA!" He was enjoying himself. He had not had to fight like this in years. The flaming assassin tried to grab hold of Tenshi or Aries. The assassin was now a living grenade.

Starting to get dizzy and light-headed, Aries staggered again but this time it wasn't because of someone else or even moving. He had to keep Ardeth talking somehow. The dagger in his left hand dropped to the floor with a clatter, it was too painful to keep holding it. His stake was still his right hand though. Aries put all of his concentration on staying on his feet but he could feel the weight of his own blood soaking his cloak enough that he could hear a slow but steady dripping on the floor. That was not good.
If he could get rid of one of the injuries, then he could put up a fight but not with both. Suddenly, Tenshi was by his side and he felt his collar bone start to heal. Light filled the entire room as Had Es made the pillars burst into flame. He also made Ardeth burst into flame.
Aries eyes widened in horror as he could only watch as Ardeth reached out to them. He tried to move away but he knew he would fall onto the floor if he tried to move his feet again. His left hand, now free of the dropped dagger, moved to put pressure on the wound. The pain from his collar bone was fading.
"Don't worry about me! Kill the Master!" Aries said angrily at Tenshi, annoyed but grateful that Tenshi had saved his life, literally.
