Lissa sighed heavily, a frustrated sort of sigh. She had a migraine and the professor was just droning on and on. The Queen glanced to her side at Rose sitting next to her and saw the question on her face. Lissa mouthed that she was fine. Though she asked Rose to take notes for her while she laid her head down. Instantly she heard, "Miss Dragomir, there is no sleeping in my classroom!. Head up and pay attention."
For a second, Lissa thought of using slight compulsion on him but thought better of it. So she just waited for the class to get done. When it finally was, Lissa quickly got up and left, Rose right by her side. As soon as the Queen walked into the almost deserted hallway, six other Guardians flanked her and came from behind. This was the price of going to college and being Queen on top of that.
Lissa turned the corner, and was surprised to see someone waiting for her. Instantly, one of her regular guardians, Guardian Jaraia, quickly sped up to see who it was. Lissa was once again forced to stop. She bit back a harsh retort. Her migraine was quickly becoming the slight darkness that went to the back of her mind and stayed there until the darkness needed to be released. Those were dangerous times for Lissa but she felt no fear of getting overwhelmed here and now. Lissa wondered if it was Christian. She heard Guardian Jaraia ask a few questions but didn't see any nods. That could be a good or bad sign. The Queen sighed again, was this how her life was going to constantly be? When was she actually going to be able to take control?

These guys needed to chill. Tenshi wasn't gonna kill the Queen. One of the guardians began reaching for his katana. "You touch my blade, and my blade cuts your head off." Another guard reached for his revolver. Tenshi was getting a little mad at these guys. "Listen, I just need to talk to the Queen." One of the guardians shouted something about an appointment. "No, when I was at the Court, there wasn't anything about an appointment." He would have explained who he was, but he doubted it would have done anything. One of the guards finally made out with his revolver. Tenshi grabbed the guy by his neck. "Give me back my gun or your little neck goes crack. Got it, kid?" That got him his revolver back at least.

Lissa listened to the harsh exchange of words, her annoyance was quickly becoming anger. But she focused on the Moroi's Aura, it was bright and slightly red. Shock flowed through her and she quickly commanded very strongly, "Enough of this! Give him back his weapons now. He will not hurt me." The slight red was obviously his anger at her royal guardians.
But then she moved forward, actually shoving the guardians in her way away from her. Once she was close to him, she whispered softly, "Your a Spirit user. We have much to talk about."

He holstered his revolver annoyingly. Good thing he was not in a bad mood. He decided to mess with the weapon-taker's head by making him think Tenshi had just pulled out his katana. The guy was yelling and trying to tackle air. Tenshi laughed heartily. "Serves ya right, kid!" The queen knew he was a Spirit User. Very perceptive of her. She probably had that aura-seeing ability Tenshi had read about in the Court Library. "Ah, very good, hey, watch out for that dude to your left. He's thinking something about stabbing me with a stake.", he whispered back. That was true, and Tenshi could see the stake behind his back. "Watch this." he made the potential assassin think the stake was a slithering snake, causing him to drop and break it.

The Queen held her breath, completely shocked at what this Moroi was doing. Obviously he had mind reading and probably the super compulsion that all Spirit users had. Lissa suddenly found herself wishing she could protect her mind better. The last person she had met like this had been Avery and that had almost not ended well at all.
Lissa warily looked him over very closely, trying to see the dark areas that flared in any Aura after using Spirit. She only saw a little bit and they seemed to have no effect on the Moroi at all. But then one of her Guardians dropped his stake and her anger rose. Her jade green eyes flashed angrily, "Do not use compulsion on my guardians! They are only doing their jobs! They will do only what I tell them to unless they see you as a threat. If you use compulsion on them again, you will have me to answer to."
This was not going well and she was not impressed with this guys careless use of Spirit with obviously no regards for what would happen to him later. Lissa had much to say to him but decided to wait for his reaction to her words.

Tenshi's eyes narrowed under his sunglasses. He understood why she was upset. Then again, he takes another step, and the guy tries to stab him. That would not be an enjoyable experience. He really did not care about her authority as Queen. "Calm down; he would've tried to kill me. Trust me; I can literally read people. Anyway, hello, M'lady. I'm Tenshi Hikari no Sekiyo. My technical lineage would place me as part Ivashkov and part Ozera. Anyways, hi." his eyes glowed a bright red as they always did after he used Compulsion.

She saw his eyes glow red behind the sunglasses, Lissa blinked, startled. So that was what happened to him when he used Spirit but so then did he not suffer from the depression? Her question was blurted out, "How come your Aura doesn't show any of the darkness from using Spirit and yet your eyes... So you don't get any depression? But how??" Lissa was half talking to herself and half talking to Tenshi. Her anger was completely forgotten about as she waited for the answer with baited breath. OOC: Sorry this was so short...

Tenshi was a bit puzzled. He had no idea of any depression that accompanied his powers. His already red eyes just glowed. Actually, one of those monster myths came from an illusion he casted upon someone. He became a large wolf, but he forgot to change the eyes. Thus, werewolves came about. He gave a little chuckle at the memory. "Honestly, I didn't know of any depression that befalls Spirit users. The glowing eyes thing is a bit of a mystery too. I mean my red eyes are a physical condition, but they don't glow unless Spirit powers are used." He was grabbed in the shoulder by an overly zealous guardian. Tenshi shrugged the guy off and dusted himself off. "Can you tell them to stop touching me?"

"Sorry, Guardian Welki is new." Lissa smiled sweetly but her eyes were on the guardian who had grabbed Tenshi. Her voice had a slight hard edge to it as she continued, "I said that Mr. Sekiyo will not harm me. There is no reason to pester him anymore." She watched cooly as Guardian Welki bowed slightly and moved back a couple paces. The older Guardians stood their ground and made no move or sound, just like they were supposed to.
Queen Vasilisa turned her attention back to Tenshi, she was curious as to how he used Spirit and the effects it had. Obviously, he had had his powers for a very long time. Curious, she asked as politely as she could, "How old are you? So you have never had depression?" Lissa's eyes grew very troubled and she actually looked away. So maybe everything they knew about Spirit was wrong? Or was this a different kind of Spirit? Did that mean that all of her own suffering could never have happened?

Tenshi dusted his sleeve off. He understood that guardians were zealous. He was not mad, but he needed to establish that he would not be messed with. Although, he thought the gun was enough. "Rookie, eh? Must be some honor guarding the Queen right, my man?" the guardian nodded in agreement. He turned his crimson gaze back to Ms. Dragomir. For some reason, she was distressed. Was it the fact his powers never hurt him? "Around 500, stopped counting precisely after 230. Depression? Yeah, I was depressed after I found out that the family I thought I had wasn't my family. Course, I dealt with that depression by destroying their status as a clan and leaving them as gutter rats. Oh, my dad wanted to use my enhanced abilities as a way to conquer Japan. That was about twenty percent of the depression"

Lissa gasped, her eyes quickly going back to Tenshi's face. Her own showed shock and concern but she said nothing other then, "I am so sorry for what happened to you..." She didn't have the nerve to ask him how he had lived so long and yet still looked like he did.
"I was not talking about that kind of depression. All the other Spirit users I know, including myself, had a major side effect when they use Spirit. They feel unstable, get angry, and often lose control when they use too much and are not bonded with someone to take away the darkness. It also comes in the form of depression. A friend of mine drinks constantly to numb the effects. So what you are saying, is that you feel nothing..." Lissa said all of this really fast, still trying to grasp that fact that Tenshi had no other side effects then glowing red eyes.

Tenshi shrugged at the sympathetic words. He had been over that for over three centuries. He really hoping his new affiliation would give him purpose. "It's fine. He got found out. He and his family paid the price. No more no less." He tipped his hat to passing student who had waved at him. It was the daughter of an ex-client. He was a bit puzzled due to the side effects of Spirit Users. It actually made him want to find a cure. "Sounds like using your Spirit is similar to using a drug... perhaps I could help find a cure for what ails ya." He wanted to help but needed a starting point.

Lissa smiled again at Tenshi, she was actually beginning to like him. That was shcoking news to her considering how much of a bad start they had. Though some of that was caused by her own guardians, she would need to have a talk with them when they got back to Court.
"Some people have veiwed it like a drug for those who do not know much about it. We are still learning about Spirit." Lissa grew excited and her smile broadened, "That would be amazing. There are a couple bonded Spirit users who have found a very good way of balancing the effects between the pair... but I am no longer bonded and am in a new ball park so to speak."

Tenshi's hand went to his chin in thought. He began thinking of possible solutions. So far, he only had a few. Well, he had been thinking of this for all of four seconds. "Hm, I would need to test if the connection is mental... If so, then I could probably reproduce it artificially. Possibly make it a vacuum of itself. Then again, that would take massive mind tampering... I should probably stop thinking for now and write these down later..." He was a bit concerned about the lack of a link for the Queen. That could be very dangerous. "Hm, you should probably find another link..."

Lissa almost laughed when Tenshi put his hand up to his chin. He looked like that one famous statue of the guy sitting there thinking but she said nothing. But then she heard Tenshi's comment about finding her another bondmate. Lissa exchanged a worried glance at Rose, fully aware of all the problems that would cause for not only herself but for her bondmate. "Well Spirit itself seems to be mentally used, that is why there are so many side effects."
"In order for me to get another bondmate, a close friend need to die and then I would have to bring them back. It is very dangerous for both involved and then you have the...problems connected with being bonded. There is a very good reason why there are so few bonded pairs."
