Tracked Down[DANI]

[Dani Ivashkov]

Dani smiled at they walked into the Archives, there wasn't anything better then the smell of old leather bindings. "Queen Vasilisa Dragomir, and Lord Adrian Ivashkov, are always busy with something, or another, but i'm sure something can be arranged for you all to meet." She said hopeful. She liked to find things for people, and be helpful sometimes. She helped him look through books and when he found ones that looked promising he showed her.

Dani smiled and said "now that is a job for the computers." She walked over to the computers, and typed in the names of the Moroi and she typed search. Nothing came up, then she tried a different combination of words and got her answer. "The Rosalie Ozera went to Japan around 1550, and so did Damion Ivashkov, but it says here that they didn't go on honeymoon, they went with their guardians to get away from Europe." she said with a smile on her face. "I believe Rosaile is your mother" she said looking up at him, "and Damion Ivashkov is your father."

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi scratched his head a bit. Huh, what an odd name the queen had. Ah well, he was Eastern Euro but named Tenshi Hikari no Sekiyo. And, for irony's sake, he was a Moroi.
"Cool, I'll just y'know go kill someone or something while I wait, maybe catch a Phillies game. Wait, it's the summer... Ah well."
When he heard about the two names. he was delighted to hear them. Yet, he was also a bit sad. He almost wished the people who raised him WERE his real parents.
"Neato, but I think I'll keep my name... wouldn't know which family to pick anyways..."

Dani smiled and looked at him. "Well you could to a hyphenated name, like Ozera-Ivashkov" she suggested. Her mind wondered about if maybe they were related by a grandparent or something, she knew that they would be related, but she wanted to know how related. She got up from her chair, and went to her family tree, and looked up Damion Ivashkov. He wasn't in that one so she continued to go through her family tree, and finally found him. 'He is like a 5th cousin' she thought to herself. She replaced all the books in their right spot.

She heard the sound of footsteps entering the hall, and it was another guardian. "Hey Dani, the council just let out for the day, i'm sure some of the guardians would love to see your smiling face" He said to her. "Guardian Alto, i'm sure they would but i am busy with Mr. Sekiyo, and i will see all the guardians later" she said with a smile. "I realize that they will, does he have a residence yet if not you might want to head over there, and get one because they will fill up fast, because a lot of moroi and dhampires are coming in this week" He said and Dani nodded and he left. She turned her attention back to Tenshi, and said "Lets go get you a room, quickly, and then you can come back here and spend hours in here or you can meet with Queen Vasilisa, that is if she will meet with you." Dani told him.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi blinked at the Guardian. He wondered whatever became of his parents anyway... He snapped out of his aloof state rather quickly.
"Oh, uh, I'd rather just keep Hikari no Sekiyo. That way I don't have to change the business card, heh."
He was a bit puzzled as to why he would need a room. He was pretty adaptable and could sleep anywhere. Besides, he lived in Japan. He had no plans of moving here. He just needed answers was all.
"Eh, I'm not staying long...Just thought I'd make my way here as sort of a pilgrimage and leave to return to my mercenary stuff... Gonna need lotsa convincing to get me to stay..."

Dani looked at him and smiled "Well you'll still need a room till your flight leave" She said as a matter of fact. "And you never know you might decide you like it and decide to stay" Dani added, and looked around the room to make sure that everything was put away. "Well it would be difficult if people called you one name for a while then all of the sudden changed it to something weird." admitted Dani. "Its your name do as you please" she said as she put the last book in its place.

"You should at least spend the night one night, i'm sure i can appeal to Guardian Hathaway, or even Guardian Belikov about you meeting the Queen" she told him. She talked to the guardians a lot while she stayed in the court, so she was pretty confident that she could get them to agree to this, as long as there were some guardians around. "I also think you would get lonely being anywhere else, but here, while waiting on your flight back to Japan." She said to him trying to get him to at least stay in court till his flight left.

Tenshi checked his cellphone for his flight information. The tsunami thing was annoying him a little bit. it delayed most of the flights to Japan. Perhaps, he could move? He did not hate it here, and it gave him a chance to interact with his kind.
"Yeah, just lead the way..."
He was so glad five hundred years had given him the ability to meld with any culture that would accept him. Without it, he would not be able to do half the missions he had taken over the centuries.
"I'm assuming those are the Queen's guardians... just an assumption. Not like I feel like killing the queen of my kind three years into her reign with the Moroi so deadlocked... very stupid of me..."

Dani smiled and headed towards the Guest Housing. "You'll get to see all the fun things that happen at Court" she told him a hint of sarcasm. In no way shape or form did she think Court was fun. She would have rather been back at St. Vladimir's Academy in her combat classes. Here she had to act like some kind of Lady in-front of her mothers friends, who thought what she did was just inappropriate, and that she should have married a Drozdov instead. Dani hated these particular meetings. So she tried to stay out of the house as long as she possibly could.

"Yes and they are completely amazing." Dani looked liked she could go on and on about their achievements, and what they did. She knew a lot about them. She admired Rose, and thought Dimitri was hot. She often referred to them as Gods, simply because Rose was the same age as Lissa and she had almost as many molnija marks and of course her zvezda. Those made her a badass, and Dani couldn't wait to get them too.

Dani seen the guest housing, she pointed to it and said "You will be staying in one of those rooms" she smiled and continued on to the structure. "My family is also staying there." she said in a matter of fact voice. "Well My mom and Dad stay in one room, and i have another, but i'm never in it. I don't like just sitting in a room with nothing to do." She said as they entered the building.

"Hello i need a room for Mr. Tenshi Sekiyo" she said to the receptionist. The Moroi behind the desk smiled and nodded and typed in his name, and handing Dani the keys to the room. "There you are and everything is all set, and enjoy your stay here at Court" the lady smiled and was ever so polite about it. Dani looked at the keys, and said "You are on the 5th floor" she smiled and handed him his keys. "Anything else that you need help with?" Dani inquired, it wasn't like she had anything better to do.

Tenshi chuckled at Dani's sarcasm to the joys of this little court. Apparently, she was not what she was expected to be by either mother, father, friends, or all of the above. Then again, she may not be big on aristocratical society.
"Yeah, it probably isn't, but I'll be gone most of the time if I continue my little career as a merc."
He saw that Dani practically worshipped the guardians of the Queen. That was to be expected, for he assumed the Queen had the best guardians. Actually, that was how it normally was with guards. Gotta keep your leaders from dying of unatural causes.
"I bet they are..."

Dani smiled at him and said "I bet you get to see the world" that was one thing she wanted to do, but she knew that she wouldn't get the chance unless she got to guard someone that traveled, but that would mean that she would would have to be on guard all the time, which she didn't mind. She just wanted to say she traveled the world. It was either being at court, at her parents home, or at school. That was her life it wasn't that exciting.

Dani looked at the sky, it was becoming light out, which meant that it was coming to the end of Moroi day, but Dani still had somethings she needed to do. "I have some errands to run care to join me" she asked. "If not thats alright" she wanted to know more about him, but decided that this wasn't the time to ask her questions. She was also getting hungry so she needed to find a cafe to grab a quick sandwich at, but she would live if she didn't eat something.

Tenshi smiled at the question. Yes, he DID get to travel the world. He traveled almost too much sometimes. Then again, he did not have much to look forward to at his home, aside from shining his weapons.
" Yeah, tons, but most of the time it's for violent reasons. This is the first vacation I've had in awhile not that I'm complaining."
It was sunrise time. Oh, joy, but he was still running on Japan time and took a nap throughout his flight and subsequent cab ride. He was getting a bit hungry, as was Dani or so he read.
"Sure, why not? But one question: why is this court thing in Pennsylvania? I'd think Russia or Transylvannia would be a more appropriate choice."

Dani was astonished "you never took a vacation, while you did your job, i mean you didn't go and sight see, and spend time looking at the culture?" she asked him. Some people took the time to visit places they liked, and took in the culture. Dani was considering that maybe when she put time in as a guardian she would travel the world, to see all she could, and when she died she would be happy, because she got to see the world.

Dani was glad when he said he would accompany her to finish up her errands, and get something to eat. She headed off towards a small cafe that had awesome BLT sandwiches, that and it was on her way to run her errands. "I guess they moved court here, because its away from civilization, and a lot of Moroi came here when people started coming to the new world" she told him. "Or at least thats what they tell us." She smiled, and looked to the sky. "I just love sunrise, and then the sunsets" she pointed out, and then started moving again towards the cafe.

He sighed. She misunderstood the statement he was making.
"That makes sense about the court, but what about the old addage 'hiding in plain sight'?" He wiped a bead of sweat from his brow. It was getting hotter out, and his leather jacket was becoming more like a microwave.
"I DO take vacations, but this was the first time I have done so in a little over a decade. Sight-seeing isn't my thing, but I enjoy going to social events to learn the modern culture of the people. No, I don't sight-see during assignments. Normally, I have a timeframe I need to follow to complete the job. When America was discovered, I took trips there when I could find a ship that led to China. Yeah, the routes back then were tedious."

Dani looked at him and shook her head "The Alchemist prefer us staying where we are, the would prefer that we wouldn't interact with humans at all. Even though some of us live in the big cities, most prefer to stay in small towns where the Moroi can be protected easier." Dani looked up and felt the sun moving higher in the sky, it wasn't that hot to her, but she could see Tenshi getting hotter, and the sun bothering him more than it did her. "Ah the cafe" she said walking in the door, and smiling at the waitress and took a seat, and the waitress came over and asked what they wanted "Ill have a glass of water, and a blt" she said with a smile and then the waitress turned to tenshi, "and for you" she asked sweetly.

"Sight seeing is the best part of a vacation." Dani said to him "You get to see all the wonderful things that the place has in store, like gardens, churches, buildings, the food, and the art work." she smiled thinking of what it would be like to get to see all of those things when when she retired and traveled the world. Just talking about it sent her imagination rampant.

Tenshi followed silently through the door and sat down. Hetook off his hat and set it upon the table. He even took off his sunglasses, showing his crimson red eyes. He liked his eyes. They were unique.
"I'll have a Dr. Pepper and a Cheeseburger with no toppings.", he said with a smile.

He was a bit puzzled as to why Moroi were so secretive. They posessed world-changing power when united.
" But we're human too. If anything, we're just another race of humans. Our differences with fellow humans are just a bit more cannibalistic among other things. We have an almost albino mutation, combined with pseudo-cannibalistic need for sustinance, and we all have similar body types."

Dani should have questioned the color of his eyes, but she didn't, because he crossed the wards, and he was out in the sun, and he was just to nice to be a strigoi, and Strigoi only had a red ring, not the whole iris, being red. When he gave his order the waitress left, and came back a few minutes later with their drinks. Dani smiled up at the waitress, and said "Thank you" then she left. Dani took a drink of her water, and then turned her attention to Tenshi.

Dani wasn't to sure what he was talking about, she got most of it, but that wasn't the point she didn't really know. She did what she was told, and that was basically it. Dani wasn't the one to question what people decided. Depending on what they did with the age laws, she would be ready for they decided. She didn't think it was best for her to cause trouble, and make a commotion, over something she couldn't help. "I really don't know, nor do i care to know, i just do what I'm told when I'm told to do it" she said as their food came back to the table. She smiled at the waitress, as she put the food down in front of each of them. Dani smiled and eyed her BLT, she picked it up and took a big bite of her sandwich.
