Dani California -Tenshi-

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi smiled and took his gun back. He opened the door to his car when Dani started running.
"I have a taser." She kept running and Tenshi sighed.
"I warned ya, Ms. Ivashkov." He pulled a taser out of his jacket pocket and shot it at her. There was about two thousand volts of electricity flying at Dani. Tenshi did not want to do this, but she still was not a full Guardian. She had to live with her parents.

Dani heard his warning, she silently cursed, and took off running faster, She ran as hard as she had pushed herself to run everyday for the past 4 years. She out ran them, but if he sent another one after her, she knew that she would never out run the next one, but that didn't stop her from running.

But fate was so not her friend because for the second time in 24 hours, she found something to trip on. "Dear lord, why me" she said as she fell flat on her face, and got up with a grunt. She didn't get up to run again, she just sat there. "I'm not going home yet, you can drag me there, but im not staying" she said to him, moving to sit on her butt, looking at him crossing her arms. "If you want me to go back your going to have to carry me" she dared him, knowing that he might just do it.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi raised an eyebrow. He found it odd. She may have been a Dhampire, but she was still a spolied brat.
"You want me to carry you? I carried you all the way to my car. That was roughly a mile. You honestly think I won't do it again? Have it your way." He walked over and carried her.
"I know you and your parents don't get along, but they're your family. In case you forgot, I haven't had one in a little over half a century. Even then, they sort of left me to my own devices because I was such a great warrior. Anyways, just try to cut them some slack. You know, this sounds like a movie..."

[Dani Ivashkov]

Dani watched him walk over and pick her up. She started to squirm, she was trying to get away from him, but she knew that it would never work, if she couldn't get out of a strigoi hold, she would never get out of this one. She stopped and looked at him. She was attempting to get out of this, she was trying to come up with a plan but he could read minds, which didn't help her cause any.

"Your the movie" she said to him, and squirmed again to try to get loose even though she knew that she wouldn't get loose anytime soon. She looked at him and sighed and stopped resisting, she would have to make her escape some other way, but how was her question, she hoped it was just her mother home and not her dad also.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

"I can read your mind, remember? Plus, I don't feel the side effects most Spirit Users get. If you keep thinking about escaping I'll warn them. Seriously, I want to hear this verbally. Why are you so stubborn about trying to escape?" He wanted to hear her say it to him. He did not like reading minds enough as it was. He considered it a big invasion of privacy.

Dani was shocked at the question. "Because you dont know my parents. My mom would be mortified, and my dad would be so upset he would fly though the roof" she said to him. "They dont think moroi should fight, and they think that i should be tough and invincible, and be the freaking daughter they always wanted" she said to him. Thats why she wanted to leave.

"I want the to cool down and get over it before i tell them. I can't deal with them, they jump to conclusions before i can tell them what happened, and they always think its my fault, and that im not trying hard enough to be like other guardians, and my mother wants me to be some moroi daughter that she wont ever have, and i can't be both for them." she said to Tenshi.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi put his hand to his chin in thought.
"Why do they think that? I'm one of the oldest Moroi around, and I've fought pretty much my entire life. Y'know, I hope Ms. Dragomir gets that law passed; because apparently I've been doing something illegal for around five hundred years. Alright, I'll, uh, go get you an ice cream or somethin." He set her in the car and got in the driver's seat. He started the car and took off. He was going about forty miles per hour.
"You're lucky I'm not alone. I'd be going seventy." He drove to a different mall and got out.
"Come on."

"Who knows, maybe because my mom has always been lucky enough to have a guardian, and my dad has never been put in that situation where a Moroi chooses to help fight." she said to him. "But it doesn't matter because they will never change" she said to him, and wished for her 18th birthday to hurry up and roll around, so she could get out and away from her parents, and then she would be almost done with school and she wouldn't have to deal with them, and she could be a guardian, she hoped that if she did become someone's guardian they would travel the world and see everything there was to see. She doubted if she was that lucky, after tripping twice, if the people at court found out about it, they would make fun of her, and they would be like no we don't want Dani, she is a klutz.

Dani looked at him and was surprised "Ice Cream?" she questioned "What am i like 3 or something, but ice cream does sound good" she said with a laugh. She couldn't believe it that she was really going to get ice cream. She smiled at him and said "You can go as fast as you like" she looked at him and smiled.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi wondered why that was the case. Did it not give Moroi a better chance of survival to fight? Maybe they are just lazy.
"So, why is that? Are Moroi just cowardly?" he shrugged.
"Compared to me, yes. Besides, I'm just goin by the stereotype. Never did much with any kids." He grinned.
"Have it your way." He kicked it into gear and drove toward an ice cream shop, going about seventy.

Dani remembered her history class and smiled and shook her head. "No there was a time when Moroi sought out Strigoi, and helped the guardians fight them." she said with a smile. "But then the humans found us out and they pushed us on the verge of extinction, so they stopped helping and hid from the world" she said remembering her class perfectly. They were told this when they first went into the freshman novice classes. She never really had to tell anyone that story before, because mostly everyone knew why, but she didn't mind telling it to those people who didn't know.

Dani smiled and said "Dont get me wrong i love ice cream i just thought i would ask why ice cream, and not a burger or something like that. I do like burgers." she said to him with a smile, she would be fine with the ice cream shoppe though. Dani smiled and reached for the radio and put on a random station, on it was price tag by Jessie J. She smiled and turned it up and started to dance with the music. She wasn't ashamed or afraid of what Tenshi would think, well he might turn it off, but that might be the worst thing he did.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi nodded as Dani gave him a history lesson. It explained why some of his targets were mysteriously killed already.
"I'm pretty sure most places serve both." He rolled his eyes when she changed the radio station. He silently turned it to one one of his CDs. It was the Foo Fighters. Aside from traditional Japanese music, rock was the only thing Tenshi liked.
"Oh, don't touch that red button next to the radio tuner. It fired rockets." He was not kidding. Those things fired off a pretty powerful payload when shot.

Dani smiled and said "That is so true" she was talking about how most places had both ice cream and burgers. Dani smiled and looked at him when he changed the music. "I didn't know you had a good taste in music. Thought you were a classical person" she said with a laugh. Dani stretched out for a moment in the car. She was sleepy, but she really didn't do anything at all except sleep. She was still mad at herself because of what happened.

Tenshi told her not to push the red button, and it made her want to push the button really bad, but she wouldn't touch it, because it would put a lot of people in danger, and might end up killing them. She didn't want that on her hands, she didn't want anything on her hands, and she was glad that no one died, and that Tenshi was there to help her out.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi parked the car at a small, family-owned diner. He preferred these places to fast food joint any day. He arched his eyebrow Dani.
"Listen, I have respect for the classical composers. Most were friends of mine believe it or not. However, yeah, I do enjoy rock music." He got out of the car, walked over to Dani's side, and opened her door.
"I'm not carrying you this time;so unless you want to starve, get out." He began making his way to the entrance of the diner.

Dani laughed and looked at Tenshi, "Classical.. yea i pictured you as that type, but im glad you listen to Rock, its at least something better to listen to than that crap." She said referring to classical. She didn't like Classical, she liked everything but classical. Dani had no intention of being carried into the dinner. She wasn't about to look like a 5 year old girl in front of people she didn't know. She got out of the car and shut the door, then her phone went off. She looked at it and shook her head. It was her mother calling. She hit the end button and texted her that she loved her and didn't know when she would be home, she was starving so her and tenshi went for food.

The text message would be the quickest way to speak to her mother with out saying anything to her. Her mother hated it, but Dani at least had the sense to text her and not talk to her on the phone, when she was like this. She put her phone back in her pocket, and marched into the dinner and sat at a booth with Tenshi facing her. She smiled as the waiter came up to them. He was cute, really cute to Dani. She gave him a smile, and said "I'll have a cheese burger, fries, and a strawberry milkshake" she didn't even read the menu, because most placed like this had milkshakes, and burgers and fries. She would have flirted more but Tenshi was there, and he looked intimidating to most people, she had learned that from others she talked to.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi frowned in mock annoyance.
"Hey, I was friends with most of them. I can make you hear Classical wherever you go, y'know." It was a simple matter of making your brain think that that was what your ears were hearing. The waiter was pretty intimidated by Tenshi. Well, he was a pretty tall guy.
"The same except I'd prefer a coke."
"Hey, you wanna see somthin' pretty funny?" He looked at the waitor and compulsed him into thinking he just changed into a girl.
"Holy crap, I'm a girl!"
The manager smacked the kid with a menu and told him to get back to work.
"I WAS gonna make him pee himself, but that probably would have gotten him fired."
