Dani California -Tenshi-

[Dani Ivashkov]

Dani smiled at him and said "Just try it" she was referring to the classical music and her hearing it. She didn't like classical, and she never would, that was the one thing that could put her to sleep in a matter of moments, or make her go nuts, and change the radio station, or even break the radio. Dani herself listened to just about everything, she didn't have one favorite genre of music, she had her favorite artists, from Taylor Swift to Maroon 5, Dolly Parton, to some undiscovered people on youtube. She had just a wide variety of music that she liked.

She watched as Tenshi made the dude think he was a girl. "Great now he's gonna think im a freak" she said smiling and laughing. She liked to be around Tenshi, but she wasn't always sure if she liked his powers, because she had to watch what she was thinking about with him around, because he could pick up on her thoughts. It was semi aggravating, even though it was nice because she didn't have to say anything sometimes. "Good thing you didn't, i would hate to see him lose his job." she said watching him walk away. The waiter had a nice butt, and Dani just stared as he walked away.

Tenshi shrugged at Dani's dislike of classical. It was fine. He did not really care much about today's music.
"He probably thinks I'm your dad or something.awk-ward." He could tell that his powers annoyed her a bit. He did not need mind reading for that.
"You DO realize that I only read thoughts when I want to right? If not, then I'd be insane from reading the thoughts of everyone at once. It'd make me schizophrenic." Tenshi nodded. He would never get a person fired with his powers. Well, not when he was in a good mood.
"I wonder why I'm so intimidating... My unconcealable weaponry is in a briefcase."

Dani smiled and said "Well still even if you read my mind when you want to, i still have to watch because i could be thinking the wrong thing at that wrong time, and then you would know all of my secrets and if you know those, then i would have to have you killed, seeing as how i suck and cant do it myself" she laughed and smiled as she watched the waiter come back with their drinks. She gave him another smile, but he walked away quickly. "You scared him away, i'm surprised he doesn't get someone else to cover our table." She informed Tenshi, with a smile.

"Well i think your intimidating, because you are how old, and you can fight better then most guardians." she said with a smile on her face. She smiled as she looked back at the guy and said "now he probably thinks your intimidating because of your size, and he is like a twig compared to you, and maybe he thinks you might hurt him." she looked back at Tenshi, and said "Excuse me, ladies room" she got up and walked towards the bathrooms, and wrote her number down on a napkin and stuck it into the waiters pocket, with out him knowing. Dani was pretty good at stuff like that with out others knowing about it. She was pretty sure Tenshi knew, but that was because he had faster eyes, then humans. She went to the restroom, and finished up quickly in it, and walked back to the table.

Ah, so it was most Guardians was it? Tenshi felt a little burnt by that statement. Then again, the only time she saw him fight was when she was drugged up. It is rather hard to appreciate Tenshi's ability in battle while nearly unconcious. He saw the little paper slip thing with ease.
"That poor fella..." He compulsed the guy to check his pocket to find the number. He looked at Tenshi, and Tenshi just looked at him brow furrowed. The guy then realized whose it was.
"You her dad or something?"
"No, just a friend."
"Gonna kill me if I ask her out?"
"Nope, but no biting." If he felt like it, he could just make him commit suicide. Why did he not do thagt more?

Dani smiled as she walked back out to the dinning area, she looked to see Tenshi and the other guy talking, it wasn't much it was just asking if Tenshi was her dad, and if he would kill him if the waiter asked Dani out. She smiled and shook her head. She stopped for a moment, and waited for the waiter to leave, before finishing her walk to the table. She smiled as she sat down and said "So what did he want?"

Dani knew what happened already but she felt it nice to ask. Dani's phone buzzed on the table, where she had placed it. She picked it up and it said. 'Hi Im David, care to go on a date with me?' Dani smiled but didn't answer the text message, she waited till he brought them their food. Which was taking forever or at least it seemed like it to Dani. Dani turned her attention to Tenshi and said "I didn't think he noticed i put my number in his pocket, did you do something to make him look in his pocket?" She looked at Tenshi, and smiled.

Tenshi looked out toward the parking lot. His car was being broken into.
"Hold that thought." He used compulsion to make the two ruffians knock each other unconcious.
"If there were three, I would've made them do a very violent rendition of the Three Stooges routine." He checked the weapons in his coat pockets.
"Grenades, Sticky Grenades, Incindiary Grenades, Revolvers, Ammo, Knives, Collapsable Grenade Launcher, Grenade Launcher Ammo, yep, everything's here." He was just trying to change the subject. The waiter came back with their orders and placed them down.
"Thanks." He silently began eating.

Dani looked at him and wondered what was going on, then she looked outside and it was tenshi's car. It was being broke into. Dani would have been up and out of her seat in a flash but she figured she would just mess everything up and end up getting hurt again. She didn't need to end up hurt and in the doctors office for a second time in 2 days. She watched as Tenshi took care of it all. Then he went went through what he had, and said that nothing was missing, for which she was glad.

She thanked the waiter David when he came back with their food. She took a bite of her burger, and smiled. She loved her burgers. "Thank you David" she said with a smile on her face as he walked away from their table. "So its not our nights is it" she said referring to her getting bit by a strigoi and tenshi's car getting broke into. It really wasn't, she didn't know if David had anything to do with it or not. She guessed he didn't, but she could have been wrong.

Tenshi did a quick mind scan while eating. The scan yielded bad results.
"Can't I even eat in peace?" Putting his suitcase in his lap, he opened it and pulled out his katana.
"This place is all Strigoi. All of it. Even David over there wants to bite us. Here." He tossed her a revolver.
"Just point and shoot, okay? And if they get close..." He handed her a stake.
"Picked one up off a dead Guardian awhile back. I don;t use 'em; so you can keep that." He held his sword in front of his with his revolver in hand.
"Let's go." The Strigoi began getting up out of their seats.

Dani's night just went from good to very bad, strigoi seriously. They couldn't be left alone, he handed her a revolver then a stake she smiled at the sight of the stake, that was something she could use. She wasn't sure on the gun aspect of it yet, she hadn't ever shot one, and she really didn't want to. She sighted and got up, and looked at Tenshi, this was so not their nights. She looked at David and shook her head, why was she always getting the freaks and the old guys. She couldn't have a normal guy like her, and text her. She didn't know what she would do with the people in her life.

David started to head towards her, Dani shook her head, and he snarled. "Really?" she said to him, pulling out her stake, which she so preferred to have. She took off after him, as he ran towards the restroom. She tore off after him, knowing that he was just trying to get away from the real threat Tenshi. Dani wouldn't have it at all, what in the world was wrong with these Strigoi at the moment. She ran into the bathroom, he wasn't there, but he was. She knew he was, she could sense him. "OH David" she said and he popped out and thats when she attacked. David couldn't resist a pretty face. Dani attacked head on and fast. She was relentless, but she plunged the stake through the strigoi's heart, and it dropped to the floor. "That is for trying to get with me" she said pulling out the stake and walking away from him, he was dead like dead dead. She rushed out to help Tenshi, there was to many to take down with a stake for her. She pulled out the gun, and aimed. She pulled the trigger, and a bullet went blasting out, and hit the strigoi in the head. It didn't quite kill him, but it did send it into shock. She smiled and ran over and staked it. She had her first two strigoi kills, in one night with Tenshi. She was proud of herself, Then there was more than she could handle. She ran towards the car. She jumped inside, and locked the doors, she couldn't handle that many at once. There was close to 50 strigoi's in one area, she didn't know why she really didn't care she wanted out of there.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi was kinda proud. The kid had killed two Strigoi in one night. He understood the decision making in getting in the car. He could handle these guys.
"Who wants to get cut up?" He pulled out his revolver with incindiaries. Oh yeah, it was time to die. With speed that only came from Tenshi's years of training, conditioning, and experience, he ran through the Strigoi like a tank. Heads, flaming limbs, and ammo clips were flying everywhere. Then, he ran out of ammo.
"Ah crap." There were still thirty left. He could not take out all of them just with the katana.
"Out of ammo, use traps." He threw a sticky grenade at a horde of ten. Tenshi got behind a table and heard the explosion. A strigoi tried to flank the table. His end was swift. He ran outside with nineteen angry Strigoi.
"Let's see how you burn..." He threw an incindiary into the crowd. The crowd was gone. Wiping sweat from his brow, he walked back into the diner, finished his meal, washed his hands and sword, put the sword back into the briefcase, and got back into the car.
"Well, that was fun for the whole family, wasn't it?"

Dani had locked the doors in the car, and watched Tenshi work. She was watching with sober eyes, the last time she had seen him fight was when she got bit by the strigoi. She didn't enjoy that one to much, but she was glad that Tenshi was there. She sat in amazement watching him kill all of the strigoi. He was amazing and so good. She wanted to be like him, or well she thought she did, but it wouldn't matter if she couldn't get over her tripping spells that she seemed to be having. She was glad that tonight she didn't trip, otherwise she would be dead meat.

She watched as Tenshi finished killing the strigoi then return to eat. She didn't dare move to finish her burger, she wasn't all that hungry, she was still in shock that she killed two strigoi. That was something that no novice had done since the big battle with the school, and of course Guardian Rose Hathaway. She didn't know what it would feel like to kill strigoi considering that she hadn't done it before, but for her it was kill or be killed, and her instincts took over. She didn't like it to much, but she would learn to live with it. The hardest thing to get over was the bite she had received the night before.

Dani smiled and nodded in agreement. "Yea it was totally fun" she said to him and waited for him to go.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi sighed and started his car. This night was certainly interesting. He was, however, puzzled that such a large gathering of Strigoi would be in Spokane. Last he heard, the largest group in Washington was a group of twenty in Seattle.
"I think I just wiped out Spokane's Strigoi population." That was an educated guess. He began driving down the street.
"So, where to next?"

Dani smiled and looked at Tenshi and said "Yea i think you did, but im glad you were here" she smiled at him. Thankful he was there because if it was just her she probably would be dead, and that wasn't ok with her. She still had a lot she wanted to do with her life, and things she still needed to get off of her list. She smiled and looked at tenshi and thought about where they should go next.

She didn't know where but she knew what she wanted to get away from. "Anywhere there aren't strigoi, and my mother's home is worse then no strigoi, so lets not go there." she said to him with a smile. "And it has to be in the country." she informed him she wasn't about to go run out of the country to escape strigoi.

Tenshi arched an eyebrow. So, her mother was worse than death? Good to know, he had a blackmail point. He wondered what to do next. Well, he could always let her stay the day/night in one of the three safehouses he had here.
"You still hungry? If so, then I'll take you to a Strigoi-free restaurant. Heh, the irony of Strigoi in a restaurant." He was already filled from eating his burger. He wondered why he did not mind-scan them from the getgo. He was probably too busy wondering what to eat.
"There any blood on my face? Don't want to intimidate people anymore than I already do."

Dani smiled and looked at him and shook her head. "After that no im not hungry." After what they had gone through she wasn't sure if she was going to eat in the next twenty-four hours, because it was about killing something that made her not want to eat. Some of the guardians wanted to eat afterwards others not so much, and it looked like she was going to be one of the ones that didn't want to eat. She didn't mind, she would be hungry tomorrow most likely, but she didn't know.

Tenshi asked her a question, she turned towards him and studied him for a few moments, and smiled and said "Yea all over your face" She wasn't kidding it was everywhere on his face, then she moved to his clothes and said "You might wanna wash your coat, and change your shirt." She informed him, she didn't think he was intimidating anymore, but when she first met him that was another story.
