[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi sighed and turned into a nearby alley.
Give me a second." He sighed. He liked this coat a lot. Oh well, he had a black leather jacket in the trunk. Taking his shirt and coat off, he popped the trunk.
"Real quick, what about the pants and shoes?" He put on another black shirt and the leather jacket. Just then, Johnny Cash's "Man in Black" played on the radio.
"Turn that up, please, Johnny was a friend of mine." He looked down and saw the pants and shoes soaked in blood.
"Thank goodness I always bring enough clothes to live out of my car in." He put on some more black pants and his black dress shoes. He stuffed his bood-soaked attire into an empty suitcase and got back into the car.
"Not hungry, eh? Well, I suppose I could find us somewhere to stay. My safehouses are only equipped for one. I'm getting them all renovated next week thankfully. Then again, you should probably call your mother. I know you don't like her, but I'm not really comfortable with the idea of having to watch someone else's kid without the knowledge of the parents. That's why I don't do kidnappings. There's a satelite phone in the glove compartment."

[Dani Ivashkov]

Dani smiled as they pulled over in an alley for him to change his clothes, she turned her head to look out of the window to keep an eye out, and to keep her mind busy, she didn't want to think about what just happened at the diner. "Yes you need to change your pants and your shoes." She said to him when he asked if he needed to, then he asked her to turn up the radio, so she did, it was johnny cash, she liked him, he was good.

Dani smiled as he got back into the car, and said "You look much better." She looked at him then turned her head to the front and rolled her eyes as he started on the whole mother thing, and how she should call her, and inform her where she is. She opened the glove compartment, and pulled out the phone and dialed her mothers number, and glad when it went to voice mail. "Hey mom, its Dani. Its not safe for me to come home, i have had strigoi follow me everywhere. I'm with Tenshi". that was all she said on the voice mail, and hung up the phone, and placed it back into the glove compartment. "Feel Better, now that my mom knows im not dead?" She asked, and a new song started on the radio, she wasn't big on it, so she turned it down again.

Tenshi rolled his eyes under his sunglasses.
"It beats getting a group of Guardians hunting after you. I won't kill those." He began driving toward a nearby Ritz hotel.
"Friend of mine owns this chain; so I should be able to get a discount." It was weird howv many friends he had in high places despite his almost shadow status. He was not on an FBI Most Wanted list, he was never seen on the Internet, and the NPA in Japan actually works with him to keep his identity. Secret internationally.
"Did you know that I helped the FBI catch John Dillinger? "

Dani smiled and rolled her eyes, "The only guardian that would come after me would be my father, and only because my mom would make him, but they wouldn't send a whole group of them out for one single Dhampir." She sighed and went back to thinking, it wasn't about much, just music, and how she wished she had her iPod but that was left at her moms house, which did her a lot of good, considering that she hadn't gone home yet. She still had her mother's money, and she was in need of a change of clothes.

Dani sighed and looked at Tenshi and said "We need to stop somewhere so i can get a change of clothes" she wasn't too thrilled about needed to get more clothes, but it was necessary, for her. Dani looked at him and shook her head "No you didn't inform me about that, that's interesting." She contemplated on what else cool he did, they talked about the Court grounds and about her, they really didn't discuss anything else, when they talked, which was odd enough.

Tenshi nodded and pulled up near a clothing store. He did a quick mind scan.
"You're all good but if the lady cashier stares at you too much, don't be suprised. Also, stay away from the other one. He's touchy-feely." He cracked his neck slightly and grabbed a a newspaper from the backseat.
"Run along now."

Dani smiled and nodded a thanks to Tenshi as she got out of the car. She walked inside with a clear mind, planning on only getting a change of pants and a shirt and maybe a jacket if she could find one she liked. She walked into the store and the lady stared her down, but Dani kept on walking, she could feel the mans eyes follow her as she walked towards the lady's clothing section. She sighed and started to dig through the clothes, she wasn't about to buy a dress or maybe she would. She found a pair of blue jean pants that were skinny jeans, but they weren't life sucking skinny jeans. Then she found a hot-pink rocker tee, which was cute besides the color. Then she moved to the jackets, and of course they wouldn't have anything she liked, so she skipped that, then moved to the dresses, she found a black strapless dress that stopped at her knees,and it would be good for a party.

She smiled and walked to the front of the store taking in Tenshi's warning about the man, so she went to the lady, and she rung her out, the lady looked surprised when Dani pulled out a wad of cash. Her mother didn't trust her with cards, so she only gave Dani cash. Dani didn't mind because her mother couldn't track her movements. She asked for the bathroom, and changed her clothes into the jeans and rocker tee. She just wiped off her shoes, which was the plus side to not having her canvas shoes on. She heard someone come into the restroom. She placed all of her clothes in the bag. She peered out from under the stall and seen the man there, but he turned and walked out. She grabbed her things and left the bathroom, she smiled and waved to them as she walked out of the store and back into Tenshi's car. "How do i look" she asked with a smile.

Tenshi looked at her from beneath his sunglasses.
"Mr. Cashier Man seems to like it. So, hotel? Oh, if you think we're going to any sort of club, remember that me and my suitcase full of weapons are quite the intimidator." He read people's minds only to see their thoughts. Their memories had always been off-limits.
"It would really suck if your mother could literally read your mind, eh?"

Dani looked at him and shook her head, "I didn't plan on going anywhere, thank you very much." she looked at him and then said "Ever heard of impulse shopping?" She looked at him and smiled, and then turned back to where they were going. "Might as well go somewhere." she said about where they should go. she ruffled through the bag and pulled out her dirty clothes, they needed to be washed, so she could have a second set of clothing other than a dress.

"Yes well im glad that she can't read my mind, i would be grounded for half the things i do, even if i just think about it." She said to Tenshi, she was glad to have someone like him, because he could help her out if she needed it, and lately thats what she seemed to need. "Its bad enough that you can read my mind if you wished." She wasn't to thrilled about that fact but it was something was the truth.

[Tenshi Sekiyo]

Tenshi pulled up to a laundromat and did his mind scan.
"Excuse me for a few seconds." He grabbed his katana and walked into the laundromat and began cutting the Strigoi to shreds. Then, he walked back to the car.
"Good news we have free laundry." He began walking toward the laundromat.
"Blame genetics. Although, this power trumps all the others."

Dani shook her head. "I wasn't meaning we had to go to the laundry mat for me to wash my clothes we could have easily gone to the hotel and i could have gotten them washed there. I can wash clothes in the sink, its really not that hard." She said with a smile on her face, because she had done it often when she had clothes she knew her mother wouldn't approve of her wearing, and when she snuck out in clothes that her mother would have killed her on, she needed to get them cleaned and hung back up in her closet.

Dani got out of the car and walked into the laundry mat and washed her few clothes, it took them an hour to get them washed and dried which was pretty good timing. She folded her clothes and was glad to be done with them. She turned to Tenshi and smiled "Where to now" she asked him, hopping it was finding some place to sleep. She was tried after all.

((OOC: alright)) Tenshi shrugged and began driving down the road toward the cluster of hotels in downtown.
"I can too, but I felt this was much easier." He grabbed his cellphone and began making a reservation for one of the hotels.
"Yeah, the usual, Morgan. Yes, two of us. No, she isn't. Dude, she's seventeen or eighteen. No, I'm not. No, she's just afraid of her mother. I'm not. Alright, I'll wire it to the hotel's account. Yeah, alright, bye." He clicked the cellphone off and parked in one of the parking garages.
"Get your stuff."

Dani watched him head towards a hotel on the phone talking to someone about her, she laughed and was thinking that the other person was nuts. She only heard Tenshi's end of the conversation and not the other guys, but now she was regretting not putting on the dress, but she would live. She smiled as she watched places go by in her window, she was content just being where she was.

She picked up her stuff from the car, which wasn't much it was just a bag with her clothes in it. Dani got out of the car and followed Tenshi, still wishing that she would have put on the dress, because it would have turned some heads, but she was ok with out wearing it. "I'm 17" she said correcting him about his phone call. "i'll be 18 soon" she informed him.

Tenshi nodded and walked to the front desk.
"Presidential Suite for Mr. Sekiyo." The rather cheeky desk clerk peered at Tenshi over her glasses.
"What are you? His bodyguard? Butler?" Tenshi shook his head.
"No, I'm Mr. Sekiyo." The clerk shrugged and handed him the room keys.
"A pleasure, Miss Johnson." That shut the clerk up. He handed Dani her key.
"Please don't lose that."

Dani looked all around her as they walked into the hotel, it was huge for her. She never really stayed in hotels or even motels, unless you counted the rooms back at Court, but those really didn't count to Dani, because they were just rooms. Dani was in a kind of awe as Tenshi and the clerk talked. Tenshi handed her a key and told her not to lose it, she wouldn't or she hopped she didn't lose it. She was quite sure that she wouldn't lose it, but there was always that chance.

"How do you manage to do this all the time?" she asked him. He always had connections in all the right places, which was pretty weird for her, because Dani wasn't used to having friends who could do stuff like this for her. She walked over to the elevator, and held the door open for Tenshi, and smiled. It was a nice place to stay, she didn't think about how much it was costing Tenshi, but he offered so she didn't mind, but if she sat and thought about it she would end up insisting that she pay for something, but she wasn't letting herself think.

Tenshi shrugged.
"My adopted family was one of the wealthiest in Japan, I have five hundred years of mercenary work to my credit, and let's just say that holding onto your payment from centuries ago means a lot of money now. Plus, I own a small fleet of fighter jets, subamrines, battleships, two tanks, and about five cars that are armored to withstand a carpet bombing with a lot of weaponry packed into them. Plus, I have to keep safehouses up to date. Compared to that, this doesn't cost me a thing."
